But it will do in a pinch. We travel to Lubbock quite often and sometimes fast food simply does not cut it, Rudy's is fast but not fast food and for this I am grateful. Stick with the brisket and ribs and you won't do wrong.

Eat in or take out. Great brisket, chicken, ribs, sausage. Usually get takeout by the pound. Like their potato salad and the pinto beans are perfectly seasoned.

Even though this is a chain, it really does have some good BBQ. Smoky flavor and moist. It's the best in town!

Okay, I know it's a gas station, but I don't want my food tasting like petroleum! I entered a funky little place with picnic tables, order in a line, sorta buffet. Meats are served by the pound(or half, quarter) and everything is ala carte. I ordered the turkey breast in lieu of the large chunk offered for a sample. It was... More

We thought the BBQ itself was pretty decent, though we've had better. This is definitely a place where the flavor is not so much in the meat itself, as the sauce you eat it with. You order by weight, a la carte style (where you order each item you want) and then take your food wherever you like on long... More

For a BBQ chain restaurant I was highly impressed. The meat quality was pretty good and the portions were large which i like when it comes to BBQ. I highly recommend a full rack of ribs for those that some eating.

This is cafeteria style where one stands in line and selects their beverage (alcohol available), selects their sides, and then choose the meat beginning with a quarter pound and working yourself to whatever makes you happy. We had the pulled pork, moist brisket, and a sausage with BBQ beans and crispy cole slaw. For $20 we had two drinks with... More

I love Rudy's, and anytime I am in a city that has one, that's where I go. It is a chain, but the meats are great, turkey is my favorite. The jalapeno sausage is great too. Definitely stop by and give it a try if you're close.

All items on the menu are done to perfection. Some may find the sauces a bit over the top spicy but most find them to be full flavored. Try a dab of each and enjoy your favorite.

The food was really good and worth the money we paid. The cost was not too bad. We really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. The employees greeted us with smiles and warm welcome. Even wished us God's blessings as we left.
