Our family visited the Lubbock Rudy's this past weekend as we NEVER miss a chance to have Rudy's!! Delicious brisket, turkey and potato salad as always. Service was quick and it was easy to park there as well. We bought enough meat to-go for 3 more meals! Only thing missing was the warm BBQ sauce station like I have seen... More

The bar-b-q at Rudy's is outstanding. However, don't expect to be able to order a "plate" of brisked or sausage, etc. The Lubbock location does not sell any of their meats or sides as plates. You have to order and are charged by weight of the meat and the sides are in pint or quart quantities. This makes ordering quite... More

Amazing bbq courageous and fast service. The only problem is that you have to eat on paper plates if you dine in, which is probably easier to clean up but not as nice to eat on.

At first Rudy's isn't much to look at, I was reserved on this establishment when we first drove up. We entered and thought "hmm" we almost walked out. The picnic style seating was not too inviting. As we got closer to view the menu, we watched as patrons placed their orders and asked questions. I was surprised when they offered... More

When in Lubbock we always try to eat BBQ at Rudy's. Today we pulled in for take out and the food was delicious and promptly served. As always the portions are big and the take out condiments are ample. Give Rudy's a try and you won't be disappointed.

Our family uses Rudy's when company comes to town. It has a great taste and the quality is consistent. The location is convenient for take out orders, which we mostly do. I do like the rustic charm of the dining area when we do choose to eat on location.

One of the best moist briskets we have had. That, some white bread and sauce, mmmmmmm. They have other meat and sides which are also good, but we can make a meal out of just the brisket. Always stop at a Rudys when it is near! Rustic, casual, good.

The food and environment were wonderful. Between visits to the restaurant and meals in the field, I had many of the menu options. When visiting the restaurant the staff was nice and offered free samples when they learned it was my first time. It was neat watching the meals get prepared while waiting to place my order.

The ribs were tender and fell off the bone. The brisket was moist and delicious. The cream corn is mouth watering. The atmosphere lets you know you are in Texas with the décor and the hospitality.
