Fine Dining Steakhouse

My husband and I enjoy having date nights at Las Brisas. The food and ambiance are the best fine dining Lubbock has to offer. The steaks are cooked very well. I prefer medium rare, and my steaks are consistently the correct temperature. This most recent visit I had the ribeye with a 4 oz lobster... read more

After hearing this was the best steakhouse in Lubbock, we reserved 3 months in advance for the night of our grandson's graduation from Texas Tech University. Checking on our 8 member reservation a week ahead of time, we were told to arrive promptly at 7 and that we needed to be out by 9. (I always believe it is the... More

How can I be honest without sounding nasty? I won't bother about the latter I guess. Let's start with the staff. Really nice. Nothing less. Great waiter and assistantess in training. Great greeters. You arrive and there is a fire in the bar on the right. Nice you are thinking, except it is on an LCD screen. I thought it... More

The food was really good, but really pricey for Lubbock. We ordered the "cheaper" steaks on the menu and they were very tasty and tender. Great place for a special occasion!!!!

The menu has changed. Included are a mashed potatoe and a vegtable. Great salads and a wonderful bar. It is a higher end restaurant but very good service and a very nice atmosphere. Enjoyed it very much.

Good steakhouses have the price tags to match and such is true of Las Brisas. The food is very good and priced at about what you'd expect for a higher-end restaurant. The wait staff was good and attentive. I had the NY strip and it was sizzling on the plate when it arrived. The sides were also quite good. In... More

This restaurant is known for awesome steaks from an oven and a very nice atmosphere. However, if you plan to order mixed drinks, save your money and order wine or beer instead. They have a horrible habit of being very chintzy with their alcohol. I recently decided to give them another try at making a mixed drink and ordered an... More

For a hot spot for dining, we walked out thinking that experience was just ok. The service was average, the food was good but not fantastic. We felt that we paid way too much for the total package. Most likely won't go back.

The food was great. We had a filet, the scallops and steak, and another dish with steak and seafood. We also got the lobster mac and cheese and the creamed spinach as sides. The meals were all delicious, but the creamed spinach was awful. There is a $7.50 charge to split a plate, which is ridiculous! We spent $200 on... More

We took our son and wife here to celebrate his birthday. The meal, from appetizers to desert were done to perfection. Steak was just the way we liked it and it was an overall excellent meal. The server (Scotty) did an outstanding job. Everything was well timed and he was very attentive. Well worth the trip!
