So overpriced!!

The food was excellent but, the prices were so totally out of sight. Ten people ate for $715. That is gosh awful and nothing tastes that good.

We dined at Las Brisas last Saturday Night. I had always liked this place, but now I need to do a new assessment. Service was poor, wait staff was snooty, food was expensive and not that great. Deserts were expensive and right off some bakers shelf. Overall a marginal experience. I will probably not go back. It is hard to... More

Ordered the surf and turf ribeye, prime, with lobster special. Husband had ribeye. Healthy servings, cooked right and flavorful, but my steak was very tough. For the price and the prime grade, I was pretty disappointed. Interesting Caesar salad. Lobster was over cooked and also tough.

We ate here recently. It has become more of a traditional steak house where you order a steak and the sides are additional. I had a 10 Oz filet which was wonderfully cooked and presented. They also have an extensive wine list. Pretty expensive but a great meal!

We ate here this month, my first time and hubby's second time, and I was not that impressed. Our waiter was almost rude. He paid more attention to the large group next to us than our table of four. The other couple we were with had to send their steak back as it was raw! He said that was the... More

We were looking for a place to celebrate our 29th anniversary while in Lubbock for our son's Regional UIL tennis tournament. We read about La Brisas in the Courtyard Hotel brochure and online and thought it sounded like our best choice. Boy, we were right. I had failed to bring nice clothes, but they were so welcoming even if I... More

I came here with my significant other for a special occasion, and called ahead to see if we needed to make a reservation or not since it was a Tuesday so we could go at our own time. When we arrived we were seated immediately at a table of two, next to a window that lead to their outdoor, covered... More

One of the best steak house restaurants in Texas. The steaks, atmosphere, and service are top notch. The restaurant compares favorably with the best in the D/FW area.

We were in Lubbock doing the college tour thing with our son. It also happened to be my wife's birthday. We looked for something special and found it at Las Brisas. One side note, my Google maps showed it to be right across from the Embassy Suites we were staying at. Not true. Go to the web site to get... More

I have dined with family and friends here atleast 2 dozen times since they opened the door. I am a local and also am into high end dining experiences which Lubbock desperately needs. I wanted to give them one last chance after spending two weeks in Austin, San Antonio and Houston. I experienced the best rated dining venues while gone... More
