Nice place for breakfast. We enjoyed ourselves. True to the name, the pancakes are very yummy. Wish they had real maple syrup, i think it taste so much better. Love the decor and ambience, the service was perfect and attentive, cant ask for better. Even get coffee to go from your meal. We will be back again

Stayed at the LaQuinta across the street and ate breakfast here every morning. Felt like I was dining at mom's house. Friendly wait staff and fellow diners. I LOVE this place!

If you want to experience the true feel and diversity of Lubbock, try the Pancake House. It's a great melting pot of personalities and characters (in a very good sense). Food is classic diner/cafe fare, breakfast being the most popular meal among the many loyal customers. Very good omelets and pancakes. Portions are good and prices are very reasonable. Service... But otherwise not great. It's been there for years. Great photos and memorabilia on the walls. Service was fast and friendly. The coffee was weak and flavorless. Buttermilk pancakes kinda dry. Whipped margarine-- no butter. We'll try another place next time.

Fun place of the past. Great food, especially for a weekend breakfast. Very good omlettes and pancakes. Good crowds every weekend so be prepared to wait for a little. It's the kind of place where the servers still call you sweetie and honey!

I read the reviews on trip advisor and thought this would be a great place to eat. My husband and I were hopeful because the parking lot was packed. I was expecting a diner vibe so the college decor didn't bother me. I honestly don't know how anyone could rate this place so highly, it was terrible. I ordered the... More

Stopped in for breakfast, they made me feel like I was home. Great service, great food, overall an enjoyable experience. Seems to be a local gathering, just good southern hospitality. I would go back in a minute.

If you love to try mom & pop restaurants with home cooking, this is a great restaurant. The lunch special included rolls and a desert. The decor is a lot of Texas Tech and Americana, which feels cozy. Every time I dine there, there are a lot of Texas Tech students there, which tells me something about their value and... More

A long-time favorite of mine in Lubbock that could be easily overlooked, but don't miss it. The sweet potato pancakes are wonderful and the sausage patties are great, too. Lots of Texas Tech memorabilia and super, service-oriented waitresses. Good down-home atmosphere and food.
