The sweet potato pancakes were just like eating candy!!!! Had to wait a bit but, on Saturday morning that is to be expected. No reservations taken.

We stopped here for breakfast and immediately felt like we were stepping back in time. The food was wonderful, especially the cinnamon roll pancakes! The service was wonderful as well. I think it was the best meal we had in Lubbock! We will be back next time!

If you are in Lubbock and you are anywhere near the Texas Tech campus and you want a great breakfast at a cheap price this is the place. An old time restaurant that has really good food. I had the eggs with ham and hash browns. 6.95 and it was more than I could eat with the toast. They also... More

This is a must if you are going through Lubbock for any reason! The food, the service, and the atmosphere made the Colorado girl very happy! Perfection is not a strong enough word!

Spent a weekend in Lubbock for a geocaching event, and this restaurant was across the street from our hotel. On our last day in town, we decided to give it a try, as we like to visit non-chain restaurants when possible. Really glad we stopped. As advertised, they had pancakes. My son tried the cinnamon roll pancakes, which were really... More

My friends and I eat here at least once a month, and now my family has decided it's the place to eat when they're in town! Momma Sally takes care of us when we go in and the staff is always nice. The cinnamon roll pancakes are FANTASTIC, but I've never had anything there that wasn't good.

Was in Lubbock for a week this summer and stayed at the motel across the street. They open early with the regulars waiting in the parking lot. Had breakfast there every morning, eggs in different styles and was never disappointed. Service was prompt and a nice quiet atmosphere.

We occasionally eat here for breakfast or lunch if we are in the area. The breakfast is as good as you will find anywhere, my favorite is the sweet potato pancakes. Lunch is also good, diner type food that is filling and of quality. Prices are reasonable and service is normally good and friendly.
