Here's the deal on Tom and Bingo's. The menu is very limited. The sandwiches leave you still feeling hungry after eating them and it's not cheap. By the way, if you are planning to buy your brisket sandwich from this place, you might want to make a to-go order. The seating consists of a line of wooden, chair-desks - The... more

The menu is simple and not bargain priced. The ham and the bingo burgers are nothing special, but the hickory smoked brisket is perfect. Just the right amount of smoke flavor, cooked to perfect tenderness, and so juicy. Dwayne (Tom's son and second generation Pit Master) will also smoke a brisket for you to take home. We did this for... more

The brisket is decent but it is WAY OVER PRICED!!! The sandwich is about $6 and can be eaten in 2-3 bites. Don't waste your money, just go down the road to J&M. more

Went there about a week ago and had one of the best bbq sandwiches ive eaten in quite sometime. As far as the review 2 below me goes this guy should research a little more, they use hickory wood, not mesquite, 2 completely different flavors. Anyways the Briskett was cooked just right and the homemade sauce was downright addicting. I... more

While in town for business I checked out tripadvisor and saw the reveiws for this restaurant and decided to give it a try for dinner. After driving around lost for 20 minutes because my GPS unit couldn't handle all the road construction I finally found the place. It was closed. There was a sign on the door that says "Open:... more

Never understood why its so popular. Decent chopped brisket sandwich, sells out often, and smoked in house. You could smell the mesquite wood the moment u pull up. Not a good value bc its really small and i usually need 2 to fill up, not much of anything else on the menu, school benches in the tiny place, and the... more

This is the place to go if, and only if, you really like smoked brisket. It is outstanding. Flavorful and tender, it melts in your mouth and it's much better than what I got at a local pretentious steakhouse. It's close to the best brisket I have ever had, and it holds its own-which is a good thing, because I... more

I attended my 50th Lubbock High School reunion recently and as I was checking out Lubbock after being away for so long I saw the Hickory Pit sign and had to stop. When I was a kid my dad owned a jewelry story in downtown Lubbock, Kennedy Jewelers. He used to send me over to Tom's Hickory pit a couple... more

This was my dad's favorite bbq shack. This is my favorite bbq shack. And it will be my sons' favorite...and their children's...and so forth and so on. Sitting here in NYC, I can taste the brisket sandwich. ----! more
