The bbq is good, but I have to agree with several others that the price for what you get it extremely high. The desks are not comfortable and, although it may be regarded as "cute" by some, they make it almost uncomfortable to enjoy your meal. It is small and there is not enough seating many times. We purchased a... More

The nice young couple who own this place accommodated my request for some slices of brisket -- in other words, not a sandwich -- only because it was the end of their day. Fair enough. The brisket was juicy, flavorful, just enough fat for my taste. Tom was careful to give me a range of slices: medium, rarer, and chopped.... More

Interesting little restaurant tucked in the middle of Lubbock. The meat is tender and juicy and the fixins are simple. The school desks that provide seating are an interesting touch. I though it a bit pricey for the size of the sandwiches--but they WERE good.

Home owned, consistently perfect BBQ, and totally deserving of all its acclaim in Texas Monthly, Texas Country Reporter and every other review I've seen. Simply great BBQ.

Great BBQ but when they sell out they are out and close for the day. Make sure you get there early. I first saw them in Texas Monthly and decided to try them out. Fantastic BBQ sandwiches!

Being rated the best BBQ in town is a far cry from the truth. The brisket is decent, but a sandwich consists of 3 slices of brisket on a bun. The entire time they are cutting the brisket you keep thinking there going to give more, BBQ restaurants are know for over feeding not letting you leave hungry. I'd pass... More

Okay, thanks for enduring my silly play on words, but Tom & Bingo's BBQ was heaven for us as we trekked from Roswell to North Texas. We needed a place to eat lunch, but because of the time zone change when crossing the New Mexico border into Texas, we lost an hour, which almost cost us a fantastic lunch. Lubbock... More

Tom and Bingo's really disappointed me. For what I spent there, I don't believe I got what I paid for. The sandwiches are tiny and leave you wanting more. It's good BBQ but not great, and I've had a lot of BBQ!
