Love this place

My husband and I like to visit Seoul everytime we come to Lubbock. My favorite is the BBQ pork. The "appetizers" are all great, esp the kim chi. I also love the soup with dumplings. My husband gets a spicy beef dish or a soup with tofu. Everything we have tried is great! And, the portions are... read more

Surprisingly The LBK is not short on home run Asian restaurants. Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian and Filipino are all represented here, but one really stands out in this varied market, SEOUL Korean restaurant on 34th St. though not entirely Korean, the food is fresh, clean and very very homemade. WIth a fatherly figure running the front of the hosue... More

Ordered the beef Bibimbap and egg was over fried and it was ground beef as opposed to the Bulgogi meat most other Korean places use. Not a large variety of kimchi either - only 4 different kinds. Yakimandoo was delicious though. Owner was very friendly but once you order and pay no other type of interaction. I went out of... More

Ate here while travelling around Texas on a road trip. We are from the Bay Area, and we eat Korean food at least 2-3 times a month. If this place was out by us, I can't say that we'd go to it frequently, but since it's the ONLY Korean restaurant in the entire Texas panhandle (as far as I can... More

Shared an order of kalbi with my husband (got an extra bowl of rice) and shared some goon mandu with friends. Loved the kalbi and rice and really enjoyed the fried mandu. Service was fast and friendly, I highly recommend this place.

I was a little hesitant at first when my husband and I walked in because the place was empty at lunch time on a Saturday. But the guy taking our order was so friendly, best customer service we have had in west Texas in a while. And our favorite dish was on the menu, bulgogi, so we got two orders... More

I was looking for something different. There is a surprising amount of diverse cuisine in Lubbock if you look, and this place was a delightful experience. The food is prepared fresh with as much spice as you want. I had a spicy pork tenderloin that was wonderful. No need to settle for ordinary here!

Good Korean food in downtown Lubbock. Came in on a Saturday for lunch, no crowds. Had the hot pot bibimbap - delicious and portions were just right. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable for the area. Definitely a must try. Plenty of parking.

This is my favorite place in Lubbock. The owner is always working the register and has a smile on his face. The food is prepared to order and comes out piping hot. The ordering style is just like you'd see in most restaurants in Korea (according to my girlfriend who's actually been), with pictures of the entrees on the wall.... More

Like others said it's rare to find a good restaurant in west Texas. The natives dont require much quality. This place is authentic, simple, inexpensive, and good friendly customer service, and never a line. The place always has someone eating there but never too crowded, has a TV so you can catch ESPN! This is where the foodies of Lubbock... More
