Fabulous lunch, multiple times!! Get there early or you will wait in line!! Great spot for "comfort food." Wish they were open for dinner.

The food is always great here and you can almost always come here for lunch and get back to work before your hour is up even when there is a long line. They serve typical homemade southern country/Texas comfort foods in a fun environment great for family get-togethers, business lunches, or casual dates. I'd say their environment is better than their food though. Don't forget to save room for their pies!

I absolutely love traveling to Lubbock because I get to eat at the Cast Iron Grill. I usually get the veggie plate because I love the green beans. However the fried okra is amazing also. I round those off with the broccoli rice casserole or Mac and cheese which is considered a vegetable here in Texas.

This restaurant focuses upon breakfast and lunch. They also book special occasion evening meals for groups. We have found good quality food, prompt service, cheerful waitresses, and reasonable prices.
