If you want a GOOD burger you have to go to Nick's! They make their own buns and the burgers are juicey and gooie and oh so good! If we want a burger we go to Nick's because nothing around can come close! The onion rings are homemade as well and very good also! You might have a bloody mary... More

We came in for a Texas Tech football game and family recommended this for lunch. I was a little apprehensive and thinking this was more of a bar but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the grilled chicken BLT sandwich with the onion rings. The sandwich and bun were amazingly good but the onion rings were better than I ever... More

Stopped in here for a weekday lunch and to watch hockey game. Typical sports bar atmosphere. Plenty of TV's easily seen from everywhere in the restaurant. Even though the place was barely even half-full, we still sat at our table for a good 20 minutes before being acknowledged by a waitress. Seemed to be really shorthanded. Club sandwich was just... We use to enjoy this place for a happy hour establishment (top 3 in town). Unfortunately the management (Brent) has done a very poor job with regard to customer service. As a result our 10-15 person co-worker group will be spending our money elsewhere and advise others to do the same. Penny wise and pound foolish! Train your staff.

Good, friendly service. We went for cocktails during early evening hours and the atmosphere was great.

We stopped by in the afternoon for a burger and a beer. Service was fantastic even when they started getting busy. We were disappointed in the wire bowl that had no hard bottom tried to cut our Burgers and just put holes in the paper liner then the food just fell threw the wire rack and onto the table. Then... This place is definitely appropriately named, sports GRILL and lounge! Their food is nothing short of fantastic. My wife and I eat here at least once a week. The burgers and onion rings are the best in Lubbock IMO and the service is always spot on. If you're going for the sports part of it, you'll be hard strapped to... More
