This low key little place has been a favorite of mine for several years for falafel, shwarma, hummus, and good simple lunches. If you like baba ganoush, this place has the best that I have ever had and I've tried it in many places around the world. The sauces are light and fresh. Try a yogurt drink in the small... More

My husband and I have to eat there at least once a week. The best in town by far. The owner is very friendly, service is great, and fast. My favorites are the gyro plate, chicken shwarma, and the falafel. I could eat it every day. Oh and the best rice I have ever had in my life, and I'm... More

I have driven past this place several times but not until a friend brought me here had I tried it. Walking in the surrounding are simple and clean, service is prompt and timely and food made fresh and to order. We both did the Chicken Shawarma and baclava...it was fairly inexpensive and filled our lunch needs to the letter. Menu... More

I had lunch here with my Mom on a Saturday. We both had the beef and lamb plate. I was expecting chunks of each, but it was a ground mixture, like gyro meat. Very good - tasty and tender. It came with a nice salad and fries or saffron rice, which I recommend over the fries. There were also 2... More

Great food that you can feel comfortable eating. The restaurant consistently appears on the local news as a "Top Performer," which means they regularly get perfect scores on their health inspections. The chicken kabob plate with saffron rice is my personal favorite. The gyro and hummus are also very good.

We eat here every week ... literally ... and the food is always delicious, and fresh! Compared to the other Mediterranean restaurants in Lubbock, Manara is by far the best. The restaurant is always clean ... from the floors to the tables. The owner is very nice and accommodating with any special requests. The falafel sandwich, dolmas, saffron rice and... More

i was looking for a good Greek style resturant while in Lubbock and unfortunately I found this Mediterranean resturant instead. The Greek Salad was good and the Gyro was different but the Tzatziki was least impressive. The Overall value is questionable at best my dinner was around $18.00 for less than impressive Greek-style food. Not waht was represented on Yelp!!... More

My in-laws found this place and we love it. We have been a few times and every time the food is excellent. We love the falafel and the gyro plate. Its fun and the sauces are great. The owner is the server and cook and when its busy he is really hopping. I think it must be authentic even though... More
