We had a great meal and an excellent server. We ordered the suggested red wine, a Texas wine, which was delicious. I had the Rosemary Lemon Grilled Chicken and he had the Beef Tips; both were cooked to perfection.

This is, by far, the best restaurant in Lubbock. Great atmosphere and food. The sesame noodles are fantastic. I very much wish that the restaurant provided different breads in their bread basket; they are bland and nothing special at all. I also wish the servers were a bit less arrogant. However, one cannot have everything in a Lubbock restaurant!

My family and I enjoyed another amazing brunch at cafe J. The place was packed and there were tons of people in the lobby enjoying drinks and waiting for tables. The manager, Autry, was greeting people by name and made the place feel like a friend's home (we need to come more often so she will know our names too).... More

The food was good. We purchased a bottle of wine that was one of the most expensive bottles on the menu but when served it tasted like vinegar. We sent it back and one of the managers came out and said this is actually a very good bottle of wine, it just needs to breath. Instead of causing a scene,... More

Just incredible! ! Best steak I have had in years. There isn't anything I can say that discribes this experience of gastronomic delight.

Two of us dined at an early dinner, 6 PM to 7 PM, before an event at Texas Tech. The restaurant was full, as we had expected it to be, as this is walking distance to TT. It was also walking distance from our hotel, so we did not have to worry about drinking some wine and driving. We ordered... More

Good food at a nice restaurant (which is hard to find in Lubbock) Very special items on the menu along with the regular favorites. The food was delicious, fresh and quality. The atmosphere was relaxing. Nice place.

Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. We had a super waiter who was attentive and helpful. We decided to order appetizers to share. We got the spring rolls, beef carpaccio , and rustic cheese platter - all wonderful. My kids ate the beef carpaccio because I can't do the raw meat scene, but they said it was delicious. I ordered the... More
