Initial disappointment with cold dish that should have been piping hot was turned to satisfaction by manager's intervention!

At a recent lunch stop at Rockfish, I ordered a combination of half a Po-boy and soup. The bisque was pretty good but my Po-boy was served with 3 tiny shrimp. They looked pretty lonely sitting on the bread and needless to say I was pretty disappointed. My husband shared part of his lunch with me or I would have... More

Maybe it's because we live in Colorado and there isnt much seafood, but this place was awesome! I had the Redfish and it was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. We got there in time for happy hour and enjoyed the house margarita. Would definitely eat there again if we are ever in the area.

I have eaten at this place in Houston and it is always consistent with taste for food and customer service. We got the seafood tower that came with won ton chips, I highly recommend this for an appetizer. We also split the Red fish with Pontchartrain sauce that came with Mashed potatoes and green beans with bacon sprinkles on top.... More

This is our favorite seafood restaurant in Lubbock. The place is comfortable, the service consistent and the food quite good. They frequently have different specialty items on the menu. Quality seafood isn't cheap, and you won't get out of here with a tiny bill either, but you do get good sized portions that deliver a great value for money spent.

Five of us sat at the bar. Had great food and great service. Patrick (the bartender) was AWESOME! Very personable and great service! We had shrimp and grits, crabcakes, and fish n chips. All food was delicious. Half price bottles of wine on Saturday. WOOHOO!

My mother and I have enjoyed taking each other out to the Rockfish in Lubbock since it opened. Mother always orders the same thing, the Trout. I order something different each time. My favorites include the Santa Fe Fish Tacos, Trout with Ponchitrain sauce, grilled salmon, Cajun Seafood pasta, and Seafood enchiladas. I had the enchiladas this time. The food... More

I ordered the crab stuffed flounder which was pretty good. My wife ordered the talapia oscar. It was barely warm when it reached the table. The sauce was some kind of a lemon based sauce with way too much lemon and not creamy....don't order this dish. The major concern was the lack of sanitation in the restaurant. We sat near... More

In town with the family to tour the Tech campus. This place is basically your fried fish establishment. My daughter, 12, loves crab cakes if they are done right, Here not so much. My fried combo platter was so so. Son had shrimp fettuccine, he slaughtered it. Of course he's 17 and will eat a chocolate covered rock if I... More

We have eaten there before, but yesterday was probably the last time. My wife and I were trying to decide between steak and seafood while on a trip to Lubbock. Fish won and we chose this place! Not many people there and if it was because of this loud mouthed know it all waitress I can only see why. She... More
