Great Food

Great pasta and salads. The pizza is very good also. We life the meat sauce that is on the pasta. We have always had good luck with this establishment.

Thanks for the kind words! Back in 1972, I remember driving from Texas Tech on several dates to the Acuff Steakhouse to have a sirloin for two! FM400 I think. Seems like yesterday! lol Come back soon! Loyd Turner More

We ate at Orlando's while passing through. The service was very good and the ambience of the place is nice. The food was good American Italian food. By saying American Italian I'm only saying it is just not the same as you get in Italy. The servings were large and the prices are fair.

Thanks for stopping by! We are beyond American Italian, we've gone Tex-Italian! You won't find our food in Italy for the most part, but it's pretty good nonetheless. Good to hear about the good service you received! Come back soon! Loyd More

We are in town visiting family and this is a regular haunt for them. The italian food was traditional but very tasty. They also have some really creative dishes where traditional meets awesomeness! Would definitely come again in the future.

I can't understand how this has been voted best Italian in Lubbock. Frozen, lazy food is not Italian. There is rarely flavor and I have tried several things trying to give them a fair chance. The ravioli, pasta, lasagne is flavorless and not handmade. I will not ever return for this over priced processed food.

The local newspaper readers voted Orlando's "Best Italian" for many years in a row, so they at least thought we had the best Italian food in Lubbock. We have made our lasagne by hand for fifty years now, and it is one of our best selling dishes. I am sorry that you did not like the food you had. If... More

Orlando's isn't a chain and you'll know it. You won't find some of these distinctive dishes elsewhere. I have several favorites--vegetable dijon, chicken spaghetti, Wisconsin cheddar soup, green chili chicken something or other. Try some of the more common dishes too--spaghetti, rigatoni. All yummy. Have a side salad and don't miss their divine garlic bread.

Thanks for the kind words! It balances some other first time reviewers that did not like our food. I've eaten at Orlando's myself since 1972, so it just tastes like comfort food to me! Come back soon! Loyd L. Turner, President, Orlando's Enterprises, Inc. More

The food was good. The ambience was good. Jordan, our waiter was very good. The food came fast and hot. The only thing, I will have some Italian music instead of the new noises young people call music. Some Pavarotti 's song will make it right.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review! We tried just Italian music once but a steady diet of it got a little overwhelming. We try to have something for everyone, all the way from the 50's to the current day. We use Pandora which does not give us total control but it is the best solution we have... More

There are many choices on the menu and after years of eating here I have yet to have a bad meal. The pasta dishes are excellent and the pizza is very good as well - the wheat crust is my favorite. They also offer delivery which is a great service.

We love Orlando's. Both locations. We have been dinning there for many years. The quality of food has never deteriorated. It's always very tasty. Pizza, pasta, all great. Our favorite is the green chicken chili linguini and Mafia queso. To die for. The service is great and the store is always clean.
