Eye-Catching Pastries

We were told by friends The Butcher Shop had a great bakery. We made the hour, 15 minute drive to see for ourselves. Oh, my! Had a quick meal while there, and then.....dessert time! We did the carry-out thing, and took home a Pecan Tart, Caramel Fudge Chocolate Cake (just a nice-size slice), a... read more

We visit the Butcher Shop about 4 times per year. The food is always cooked as ordered and more than enough to get filled. The pastry bar is a favorite of the family.

I got a classic breakfast with eggs, bacon and pancakes. Everything was good except the bacon which was super salty. As far as the bakery, there is a ton of different breads and sweets to choose from. The Russian rocks are the best I have ever found-- raisins, dates and pecans in a soft buttery cookie. Yum!

I recommend the hickory smoked burger. And the surprise treat is the bakery & pastry shop. If your looking for a great burger in a... More

Desserts here are unsurpassed. The complimentart chili is delicious. The burgers and chicken fried steak sandwiches are very good. They also have a potato bar with all the trimmings. Nice people. I highly recommend.

Always a great place to go and have a Cheeseburger. The patties are always thick and juicy, and there is a great dressing bar where you can complete you burger the way you like it. Mayo, mustard, leaf or shredded lettuce, etc. are all available. The atmosphere feels safe and friendly, this is always a good place to go with... More

Great burgers with many options including Buffalo and Turkey. Fresh toppings to make it just the way you like it. Desserts are abundant and delicious. Go hungry and leave stuffed. A family favorite every time we visit Longview.
