One of my families favorite places. Great food, and entertainment all at the same time. Fun for group dinners.
We went to this restaurant after years of not going there because it is so hard to get into. The food is just average and the whole place needs a good makeover. Very overpriced for what you get, they give you lots of food, but the food taste and quality is just average. The person who did the cooking was... More
Very good management, nice for a night out with spouse or business lunch. Very good chefs. As SC4navy has said, be careful not to order a ton of sides if your on a budget, though if you get the main means, with salads, soup, and drink it runs about 60$ for a couple. Lunch can be had for around 12-15$... More
I like to bring my daughters because they love the entertainment, the chefs are a lot of fun. And I like to have girls night out with the girls from work, because we like to order several different sushi dishes and share them.
Loved celebrating birthday here. The atmostpher is festive and fun. What a great place for a first date and to break the ice.
So after my previous review you will find below my wife and I went back to have a dinner here again. This time I did not eat anything and she had just sushi. Everything was ok although the fish smelled a little strong and tasted not so fresh as last time she stated. After dinner when the bill was dropped... More
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find this place had really good sushi for being in Longview, TX where everything is so run of the mill bland. I myself would recommend the "Crunchy" off their menu without a second thought and bonus is that the rice although fried is the only cooked thing on it and I didn't... More
We had stopped going to Shoguns for awhile because the sushi chef they had before was not quite up to par in our opinion but the new chef "Kim" is awesome! His special rolls are fabulous! If you go, try the Beauty, it's my fav:) Oh and get there early if you want a seat at the sushi bar! The... More
By far, hands down, the best restaurant in Longview. We got the beef and upgraded to filet and it was excellent, tender and very flavorful. Our cook did a great job with everyone's food and they are very generous with the portions. You definitely don't want to miss an opportunity to eat at Shogun. Enjoy!
This is a place you go for the show and are willing to pay the price. Food and Drinks are very expensive, but if you relax and enjoy the show. The meal will be memorable. Do it for only those special occasions and make reservations. Try to be part of the first seating otherwise you will have a long wait.
