Great Little Spot

Breakfast is very good and lunch specials are too. Other dishes are all good. Food takes a little time to arrive as it is all made to order- well worth the wait.

Good breakfasts, slow service. So slow they had to post a sign saying "Good food is worth the wait". I have not been to Maude's, the restaurant that replaced it in the same location.

Sadly the Sunshine is closed for the moment. Nearest alternative for full breakfast is the Lockhart Cafe

We stopped there yesterday based on the reviews here. It was definitely an experience! Wonderful local home town appeal. Food was very good but as vegetarians not a lot of choices. Had the veggie omelet - huge portion - yummy biscuits! Be prepared to wait a bit for your food but it's worth the wait. Enjoyed the local folks who... More

Just good, home-cookin' for breakfast. Eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, biscuits and gravy. Great service in a homey atmosphere. We try to stop every time we are in town.

I"ve been eating breakfast here for two years about 3-4times a week. The atmosphere is down-home pleasant and the service is great. The food is cooked to order so if you are looking to get in, eat, and get out in u der 30minutes then go elsewhere. This is fresh hot food in the style I used to enjoy sitting... More

Good homemade food! The restaurant is in an old building downtown, so the decor looks antique. You have to wait a while before getting your food because it is all prepared from scratch when you order it. Prices are fairly cheap, but the food is great. We noticed that a lot of the locals tend to come here for food,... More
