Nice place to eat

Just ate here with hubby. We shared the beef fajitas for two which were good, and the setup of pico, guacamole, and sour cream were fresh. Not grilled over a flame but tender and tasty. Charro beans were ok. We asked for the hotter salsa and got a spicy hot green one and a warm heated red sauce so... read more

If you are looking for bland and unseasoned food then this is the place for you. The salsa tasted like tomatoes with no flavor. As I was paying on my way out I told the cashier the food was bland and flavorless when she asked how everything was. She told me this is how their customers like it with very... More

I always get the fajitas for 2-shrimp, chicken and beef. This is the first place I ate out with my ex-wife, love you and miss you Jennifer! I always get extra guacamole and sour cream.

The person waiting on me was very nice, but it is bad to order a to go order and you receive a small amount of salsas, really it is the amount to put on a hamburger. I had a large bag of chips but no salsa. Not worth going again

El burrito is good if you're in a hurry usually plenty of seating, good service, fairly decent food.

This is a pretty run of the mill mexican place, but it is very popular in this area, because they don't have a lot of choices. Still you can't really complain, good food at decent prices, good beer prices, but they don't have anything on tap. Menu was a little overcrowded.

I have eaten here twice in the last 6 months while in the area to fish. The food is okay; not bad, not great. It's Tex/Mex like we ate at Monterrey House in the 70's and 80's. I don't know why folks expect to get great Tex/Mex in a small East Texas town and are upset when they don't; it's... More

We had lunch at El Burrito on way through from Houston. The location is very convenient right on the highway. The staff was very friendly, but food is average at best, My chili relleno had so much cheese poured on top that I had to remove about half of it. The refried beans are good and salsa is fairly good.... More

We have driven from Indiana to Livingston Texas and this restaurant was next door to our hotel. It came highly recommended and we had never eaten at one of these restaurants before. We were quickly seated had delicious hot warm chips a different kind of salsa which was thin and thick not chuncky and I really liked it. The food... More

We are RV'ers, just passing through Livingston to pick up our mail at Escapees. Restaurant was recommended by locals so we gave it a try. We are kind of Mexican food snobs having lived near the border in California for 35+ years. Loved the green sauce, chips were fresh, food was awesome. And to top it all off, we showed... More
