For a small Restaraunt it is very good

The owner really tries to please. This is a very small place and is a typical Mom and Pop place with a very good variety of food. You could easily think that you were back in Mexico or anywhere in Central America. The food is hot and tasty and if you want something extra then they really do try... read more

Trip advisor reviews let me down on this one. Chips thick and cold, salsa thin and weird. My son and I had cheese enchiladas. The sauce, what little there was, had a vaguely sweet taste. Rice ok. Instead of beans we got shredded lettuce and a sliced tomato. My husband got the barbacoa which he said was ok. There appeared... More

After reading reviews I couldn't wait to try this place but I must say I was disappointed. From the chips and salsa that were so so (The salsa was blah) to the taco salad that was pretty good but nothing amazing. I was hoping for more but can't say I found it. The service was also not that great. Once... More

I just stopped in to get a bit of supper while I was in town. I was craving some good Mexican food and BOY was I surprised! This little place does not look like a fancy restaurant but the food was some of the best I have ever had! The beans and rice which I rarely ever eat were wonderful!... More

The salsa is salsa... It is not tomato sauce. Real refried beans instead of the greasy mush other restaurants claim as refried beans. The chicken also real chicken with awesome flavor. The best Mexican food restaurant I've been to ever. If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place to go. A very friendly and family oriented staff.

This is Tex-Mex at it's finest the way grandma use to do it. I found the prices very reasonable, the portions very generous, and the food was top shelf. The building is in poor shape but is clean and could use a real remodel but I didn't come for the environment I came for the groceries. The barbacoa was as... More

We have been driving past this unassuming little place for a couple of years. We finally stopped. I'm glad we did. It is a small restaurant. The food is excellent. Well prepared, delicious, fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive. The chips are made in house and it shows. The chicken enchiladas were terrific. The pico de gallo was amazing.... More

Small family owned real deal little Mexican restaurant. Not fancy but very clean with friendly staff and great food. Have taken many friends here who have lived in Livingston all their lives and never stopped and they are shocked! Why haven't we eaten here before? Is the usual comment. Great prices, authentic dishes family friendly.

The building takes "hole-in-the-wall" to new heights but once you enter and eat the homemade Authentic Mexican cuisine, you won't regret it! There were 6 of us who all ordered something different and we all enjoyed our meals thoroughly! The owners were also super friendly!
