My wife and I went there with the rest of the family. I had chicken fried steak. She had a bbq potato. The portions were awesome. My food was good but not great. I didn't like my wife's bbq potato but she did. The service was poor. Overall, this place is average. I probably wouldn't go back unless someone took... More

I like absolutely everything on the menu. Ribs are heavenly. Desserts are perfect. Service can be a bit uneven - but mostly adequate to good.

Florida's Kitchen is not at all fancy but the food is very good. The ribs at Florida's tend to sell out most days because they are so good. Her desserts are freshly made and delicious. It is well worth a stop at Florida's

This place has the best bbq this side of the mississippi bar none, tender, sweet and lovely to eat, maids are friendly and gets right on your order, prices are very good, no high prices here, but, one thing is you don't get there early you might have to wait for a table, this place is busy and, once you... The best ribs and catfish around. The decor is rather shabby, but who cares when the food is excellent. People come from all over to sample the ribs. You won't be sorry.

Well I wish I could write a bad review so it wouldn't be so crowded all the time. Florida's isn't known for its decor, nor it's fast service. No the tables and chairs don't match and I didn't come for their salads or croutons. The fried catfish and ribs is why you come to Florida's plain and simple. You Yankees... More

The food was quite good, but the restaurant was rather noisy. It was a busy night, though, so it was to be expected. The decor is very basic - nothing fancy at all. But if it's good food you want, this is a good place to go.

Ribs are always good here. Friday is fried chicken day. This is home cooked fried chicken at its best! Great service.

A co worker and I were working in the area and found this place on TA. We both had the ribs and were both disappointed. They were dried out and no taste. I loved the potato salad and the baked beans. I will give it another try but next time I will get the fried fish.
