I have eaten here a LOT, just love it. The food and service are just great every time. At a medium price point and they still make you feel classy and just a bit special when you walk in. Not a chain restaurant cookie cutter vibe with food or service. Try anything on the menu, you'll love it.

My family and I went to Abuelos restaurant on Monday for a family members birthday and one of the guest at our table used her debit card to pay for a meal. When the bill returned in the black folder that they use for bill payment her card was not enclosed. Although the waitress clearly used the card to pay... More

Our waitress Brigette was the best! The food, as always, was great. Beautiful restaurant, clean, huge menu. The food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

Hadn't eaten at an Abuelo's in years but met some friends for lunch. The place is really pretty inside. Had queso for appetizer and it was good although mild, had to add hot sauce. Waitress very attentive and good service. Hubby had the lunch fajata's ($12.99) plus 99 cents extra for a very small dab of quacamole. They weren't what... More

After reading the reviews I was only expecting a "typical" chain resturant quality food. Wow, were we surprised!!! This was one of the best restuarant Mexican meals I'v ever had. The food was well seasoned, cooked just right, and steaming hot when it arrived at our table. So, we thought this was probably a "good night" and tried it again... More

This is a chain Mexican restaurant. Higher end and reliable good food. Whether in Dallas Albuquerque or Phoenix Abuelos has the same menu and the food is a very reliable high quality. Tonight we had fajitas for two. Two orders for four people. Easily twice what we needed to eat. Flavors were excellent meat was tender. Service was excellent. And... More

I ate recently at Abuelo's with a group using their private room. Although large, it suffers from poor acoustics. The tile floor and hard walls reflect sound so it was hard for every one to hear. Worse yet is if the doors are open to the main restaurant and the noise comes flooding in. Pros: it's conveniently located in Lewisville... More

Abuelo's is consistently good every visit. From Texas to Ohio it's good food and you know what your getting. Be careful because the plates and food are extremely hot!

Three salsas to sample, all delicious! I was impressed with the green sweet/spicy one in particular. I ordered the lunch portion of the chimichanga and was pleasantly surprised by the portions. The server was attentive without being obtrusive. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely go back.

The food here is always great. We had our company Christmas lunch here and the service was fantastic even with us having a party of 25. We never had to wait for anything. But, the food is the real reason we go here.
