Dave's Mexican Burrito Plate

Friendly restaurant, great tasting mexican food, free chips and salsa with your meal! Tried both the enchiladas and the mexican burritos, both excellent choices. Ask for green salsa, not on the menu, if you like a littel more heat!

This is a cozy little restaurant with average food. I had a chicken fajita salad which was good and plentiful. While the salsa was good, the chips disappointed, tasting very institutional. Service was prompt and friendly. Note: The restaurant does not serve alcohol, so no cerveza or margaritas!

Small family owned Mexican restaurant. Their was one waitress and she was very fast she waited table and took the money. No one had to wait very long for anything and she checked on you regularly. I had the beef enchiladas and they were very full I left a couple of bits. If you like Mexican food and are in... More

We should have eaten Mexican food as it all looked delicious but I couldn't resist the chicken fried steak. I didn't like the gravy seasoning, not real sure why not, but otherwise everything was good. My husband got the hamburger and fries and liked it. We were given tortilla chips as soon as we sat down and we ate too... More

This is a small, rather plain restaurant in the Texas Hill Country, but the food is awesome. I am not an enchilada fan at all but their cheese enchiladas are to die for! Salsa is warm, but not too hot for the non-Texan, tacos and chalupas very good. My husband had the Mama Chole's Special Burger with fries and it... More

Small, locally owned Tex-Mex restaurant. Excellent homemade chips and salsa! My husband had Paul's Peppers and really enjoyed a different take on a stuffed jalapeno pepper.

Came into Leakey on a Monday intending to go to a different cafe which turned out to be closed. Noticed Mama Chole's and thought we would try it out. It was a very good meal. The place is small but worth any wait time.

We went here on a Tuesday night, it's a small hole in the wall with excellent food and service! There were only 2 waitresses for about 50 people....They were pretty impressive and did everything with a smile:) we got the chicken fajitas and the chicken and cheese quesadillas. We loved both of them! Excellent choices!! The chicken was SO tender... More

Simple small family restaurant with great Tex Mex food. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. It was much better than the chain restaurants found in the city.
