Taco Palenque is biggest local fast-food taco chain. It is absolutely nothing like a Taco Bell, in that it serves actual Mexican food and is delicious. If you're dining in, they have free fresh-made tortilla chips and a salsa bar with all kinds of salsas and vegetables to add to your meal. Some Taco Palenque locations, especially the new one... Taco Palenque has been around forever and their food quality has always been excellent. We visit TP every week, try the beef or chicken fajita taco. Overall, its good food and reasonable price. Oh, don't forget to ask for extra tortillas if you need them no extra charge.

After waiting in drive thru over 20 minutes for 4 breakfast tacos, I find my order is incorrect. Why ask what tortilla (corn or flour) I want if they're gonna give me whatever they feel like giving me. POOR service, and pricey!

They serve excellent food with quick service. Prices are good with a wide selection of plates. They always have fine fresh items at the salad bar. Good place for families to have dinner..

The restaurants have gone down in quality and service. The restaurants are dirty and messy. They seem to hire the worst workers. Prices are high for the quality of food and service. However the tortillas are the best.

I like to eat here when I make my way back to Laredo. it never disappoints. Unfortunately it seems as though the prices have gone up. I still like my pirate though.

We stopped by the San Bernardo "Jr" location after a long day at a baseball tourney. It really hit the spot! The soup was something new for us and was excellent. They have all the normal tex-mex cuisine and prices that are slightly above traditional fast food but the portions are bigger as well. At 9:30p at night this is... More

Pulled in with the family for a quick bite to eat. We are from out of town (San Antonio), came in town for a baseball tournament. After a game we went to this restaurant because it was close to our hotel, and had read some good reviews about it online. As we pulled in too the parking lot I saw... More

The food is always good here, very consistant. The casero taco and chicken flauta's are a must try. Service is friendly and fast, however you may want to avoid on weekends after 1am, it's a madhouse.

fantastic chips. food tend to be not spicy (for me) and the spicy sauces were not spicy enough. Great drinks, should try the Margarita/beer in a glass
