It's prepared fresh for you when you order. Some plates take longer, like their China Border Chicken, but the hot and sour soup served... read more

There's American-style Chinese food, i.e., like what you get at Panda Express, high end versions of Americanized Chinese food, like P.F. Chang's, and then there's REAL CHINESE FOOD, in all its wonderful regional variations, like what you can find in the large Chinese-American communities of cities like Houston or Los Angeles. China Border is closer to Panda Express than to... More

This restaurant may be a bit of a drive, but it is so worth it. The hot and sour is pretty good, the Crab Puffs (crab Rangoon) are great! I highly recommend it. When you go ask for a menu to take with you so you can call ahead and order that way when you get there it will be... More

China Border is one of my favorite restaurants in Laredo, TX besides Mexican Food! Their fried rice is excellent and egg drop soup is great. Everything I have had at this restaurant is really great! It is very small inside and has very little parking out front. They always have a crowd for lunch.
