Good Bar

Well stocked bar with some good draft beers both macro and micro. Same varied menu at the bar as in the restaurant and because of the TV's (sports) I prefer to eat in the bar area. Usually have good specials and the burgers are different and well presented. Fried foods look very unhealthy but... read more

My family and I swung by here on a Sunday evening just to grab dinner with no real expectations and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and even the decor are friendly and the beer offerings are great. My son had the mac n' cheese which was nice and cheesy, but maybe a little small even for a kid's portion. I... More

Great drinks, local beer, cool atmosphere (even though its in a strip mall) - try the meatloaf bites for an appie, and the porkchop with jalapeno gravy. Good stuff!

staff were super friendly. Everybody else was getting the hamburgers because they had a special. I took one look at the huge onion rings and had to get them they are delicious. I ordered the chicken and it came out very quickly and it was very dark and obviously overcooked. They took it back and give me another one and... More

We sat in the bar area to experience the vibe/feel of the "tavern"& weren't disappointed!! This is a cool place w/ a unique menu!! The meatloaf bits appetizer are incredible... served on a bed of mash tators w/ a spicy ketchup sauce. The " Fat Tire" Beer battered fish was lite & flavorful. My Cobb salad was enormous w/ tons... I was so surprised that this establishment had a separate gluten free menu-with more than one dish on it at that! The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The service is friendly. The food is good; with a portion size that's just right.

I recently did a canoe/kayak race on the Colorado River in Austin. It was 62 miles. After I finished, my wife and I went o the League for dinner. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The appetizers were well presented. The service was non-stop (except our waiter had halitosis). I nearly fell asleep but made it through a yummy... More

The meatloaf bites are outrageous. Also, the chicken honey biscuit with the truffle gravy will make you fall out of your chair.

Food is great! Classy atmosphere with cool prohibition vibe. You need to try the fried pork chop at least once. I order something different every time I have been and never disappointed. I tried the brunch recently...don't miss out on the chicken biscuits! Great place for a drink as well. They just opened up another location in Avery Ranch and... More
