We hoped to find a good BBQ place when we moved here, so we tried Dickey's. I was incredibly disappointed, composite turkey which was slimey, extremely dry cole slaw, and the bread tasted like it had been sitting there all day. The pork left a lot to be desired too, as did the staff. They also charged our credit card... More

I travel the country and love to try every BBQ join I find. Dickey's BBQ is not bad at all. In a scale from 0-100 they get a 75 from me. I won't call it my "go to BBQ", but it's close and my family and I do enjoy eating there once in a while. They are slightly over priced... More

Very good food, but it's way too pricey! The potato casserole is the best! There are times when they have actually run out of certain items though.

Wanted their special at 5 in the afternoon but they were out . Ask what they would sub for and he gave me 2 pieces of meat which was not really a sub but just ok . The sides were excellent so altho it was a good meal I would not go back.

When they first opened...Their BBQ was decent (if you are hungry). Service was POOR!!! Perhaps personality training would work. The one nice person working just came back inside after a smoke break... There are too many GOOD BBQ places within a 20 miles radius. First Impressions are lasting impressions. Decor?

The brisket it pretty good, not amazing, and in Texas you need to have BBQ closer to amazing to stay in business long-term. A new "lean brisket" was pulled out for our order, but they just started cutting right into it rather than slicing off the burnt fat cap. When I asked if I could have brisket without the fat... The "Steamer" (baked potato) is to die for. The pulled pork, ribs.... So hungry now!!! Really great, kind hearted staff. They treat my disabled brother like a king!

There are big brand BBQ places and local great places. This is a big brand location that is very good. Very consistent each time we go. Pricing is a bit high for what you get quantity wise. It's a good "safe" place to go for BBQ. They have no super stuff but just good food. Staff was attentive.

I don't eat meat but usually places like this make good ice tea so we stopped and my husband got lunch. He wasn't expecting much since his favorite is Fuschake's in San Marcos. Much to his surprise he indeed liked it. The tea was good and not weak. Beans and potato salad were very tasty.
