Great view and very good italian food. Eggplant was fantastic and waiter was superb. I could live on the cheesy knots

Daughter had eaten here before but I never had before. Took both she and her son ( my precious grandson. ) to eat here today after grandsons doctors visit. The rolls they bring out are delicious and the special we both ate here today was shrimp messaluna with mushrooms , tomatoes , artichokes and Alfredo sauce was good .

This is the only Italian place I will eat at in this area! I love all the dishes I have had! The wine list is wonderful! The owner is there almost all the time. They used to have veal on the menu. They took it off. My daughter loved it. The owner said if she called a few hours ahead... More

The food at Zammitti's is not the primary reason to visit -- the location is. When the weather is nice the patio or a table by the window offers a scenic view of the San Jacinto River and local wildlife. The food is perfectly fine as well, but my tastes are simple here, leaning to a nice filet of grilled... More

Love sitting on the patio. Pizza is good. Corn chowder and side salad are good too. We have had good waiters and one not so good. Overall enjoyable.

I've been to Zammitti's twice now, the second time was not my choice and I was hoping the place improved but it has not. To say the food is even of restaurant quality is an overstatement. The portion sizes are extremely small for what you pay for them, and the vast majority of the dishes lack flavor, color, and creativity.... More

This is a surprisingly good restaurant with very little fanfare. If Italian food is on your menu, this is the place to visit. We had dinner there and found it so good, we ordered a pizza to-go the following evening. Outdoor dining area is available.

March 12, 2014. The concrete floor was dirty and the place needs a general paint job and makeover. Ambiance needs an overhaul. It could be much more interesting than it is. Food was OK. but not remarkable. Greek salad was swimming in oil, and spaghetti carbonnara was just so-so. Waitstaff is inattentive and untrained (my name is not "boss" and... More

As a first time visitor to Zammitti's I ordered the Greek salad. The dressing was pure vinegar.... It was inedible. The waiter did not return the coin change I was due from my bill...only the bills. This trend really disturbs me. I should have reflected my displeasure in my tip. I will do one better and never return to the... More

Sat on the deck overlooking the lake and had extremely thin pizza crust (made there) with great toppings. My husband and I shared a pizza and each picked toppings for our 1/2. There are great choices for sauces 5-6, and toppings...meats, cheeses and vegetables. The deck overlooking the lake made great ambiance. The service was timely and friendly. Enjoyed it... More
