We live here in Kerrville and have enjoyed Francisco's for years......always top notch food and service.....downtown in central location. Can eat inside or outside, if weather permits.

Franciso's is one of the top fine dining spot in Kerrville and it is the only one in the historic old downtown area! The menu is varied and dinner is great, but my favorite time of day to visit is at lunch during the 8 months or so that one can sit outside and enjoy the area under the umbrellas... More

Eat here all the time with my wife or other couples, always get the chips and hot sauce, usually one of the specials at lunch and steak tampiquena at dinner, but not everyday Mexican food, very upscale white table cloths and napkins. The owner ( Paco ) is usually running around making sure the service is excellent and if not... More

We had lunch yesterday and were very impressed. I had the tuna salad sandwich with a cup of gazpacho and my wife ejoyed the crisp fish taco with a cup of tortilla soup. First, both soups were made with fresh ingredients and delicious. Our sandwiches were huge and came with a slice of pickle and watermellion- the presentations were awesome!

My favorite is the Chalupa Veracruzana served with gaspacho and fresh fruit. Just the right size servings. I also love the Chile Relleno special. The meat is so flavorful with cinnamon and raisins. I've never had it prepared the way they do it. Nice atmosphere with linen napkins and tablecloths and very polite waiters.

While shopping in Kerrville recently, we stopped here for lunch and although the place was crowded, we were seated in about 15 minutes just as the maître d' said. We started with two cups of the day's special soups and both the chicken tomatillo and tortilla were delicious. This was followed by a pastrami sandwich and the fish tacos, another... More

We asked locals for some recommendations, and this was top of their list. I must say that the lunch portions were just right. I had the Salad Sandwich which was so tasty. It was light, refreshing, very fresh, in other words, just awesome! The waiter was excellent and I am so sorry that I do not remember what it is,... More

We were in Kerrville for one night and were very impressed with everything about this restaurant. Friendly, professional service, and a nice atmosphere. We had fried oysters for starters and they were fabulous. All of us chose the lime cilantro shrimp and rice with vegetables and it was wonderful. I agree with others that the dinner prices are pricey ($35... More

We were passing through town on our way to a weekend inthe Hill Country and decided to eat dinner in the historical district of town. We wandered into Francisco's. What a surprise! White tablecloths, a beautiful old building, bold art on the walls set the scene. The food was good, and the service flawless and very friendly. We enjoyed the... More
