Nice change for me

This is a place my wife really likes. Yesterday was my first visit. The location is in the old downtown area. The building is an old limestone rock building with wooden floors. Both elements create a nice atmosphere. The service was very good. The lunch menu is largely sandwiches, salads and soups... read more

I have eaten lunch at Francisco's MANY times and have never been disappointed. I love their chicken salad sandwiches, it is very light with a hint of sweet, probably the most flavorful chicken salad I have ever had. Their tortilla soup is quite tasty also. I usually eat outside, inside can be a little noisy. I have had dinner there... More

Friends hag frequently mentioned Francisco's and I always assumed it was the quaint cafe on the corner that had nice outdoor dining. Little did I know or expect such a good menu, wine selection and service. The fried oyster nachos and steak tampicano were awesome. My wife shared the ahi tuna with a friend and they were both satisfied. A... More

Francisco's is located in old town Kerrville. As a native of Kerrville, I can tell you that the location was called the Sport Shop when I was a kid back in the 60s. Never mind about that, suffice it to say that Francisco's is a wonderful place to have a nice dinner in a relaxed atmosphere.

My last visit to Grape Juice is my last. This time we re-visited Franciscos and were very pleased. Great wine selection and the salads, sandwiches, lunches were great. They didn't hesitate to accommodate any request, i.e., bread, chips, etc., unlike Grape Juice who charged for 4 small pieces of over toasted bread and grumbled when asked for butter. A little... Smaller selection on the menu than what I like but the food was good, and I liked the fact that they cater to those on diets. Lunch is a busy time so going early or later then 12 noon plays to your benefit. Service was awesome, and enjoyed the bright atmosphere.

Enjoyed the welcome on entry and the knowledgable waiter we had. Fun to look at the art work around the room and we could people watch out the window as well. Food was goo, would eat here again.

As a resident of Kerrville I have been to this establishment many times in the last 15 years. Today is the first time I will actually write a review for this restaurant. My favorite dish that is served here is the fish tacos, they are by far the best fish tacos I have ever had (and I have had a... More

Has they special of chicken salad with guacamole and pic de gallo served with a cup of tortilla soup. With had the veggie sandwich with the freshest rye bread that was terrific. Will definitely stop in again when in... More

Francisco's is a local favorite and always guaranteed to deliver an excellent meal. My favorites are the tortilla soup and the fish tacos but they have some excellent other selections. While there you can view some eclectic pieces of art and enjoy the downtown location. I highly recommend.
