Got the chance to sample beef brisket and pork ribs. You get to choose what and how much. You can choose a reasonable amount and not be stuck with a load to pack out. Great sides and Killer banana pudding. Save room for this special sweet treat. If your westbound on I-10 save your appetite for this place, and pass... More

This is run by folks from califronia and the BBQ is not up top texas standards. Sides are un inspiring . Much better BBQ places in town.

The service was great. Menu a tad confusing, but overall great experience. The coleslaw was really good, and sauce was good as well.

We had an after hours family dinner to celebrate my in-laws 90th birthdays. Even though they have lived in Kerrville for over15 years, they had never dined here. The food was FABULOUS! The ribs were great, while the brisket was DIVINE. I liked the potato salad which doesn't happen often. We were given samples of the tomato soup which has... More

The ribs are to die for, but don't forget the Tootsie cake. One of the best cakes we have ever had. It is mouth watering moist and elegantly smooth with its coconut flavor. It is a 3-layer masterpiece, homemade with tender loving care. We usually order a slice but for my mother's 80th birthday we ordered a whole cake with... More

You will need to look this one up to be able to find it, as it is not on the main road or area....but it is worth it. Some great BBQ...period! My husband is a barbecue aficionado, and sometime snob...he doesn't say something is good unless it is, and he was quite impressed with their sauce. And it was! If... More

We have been hearing about the wonderful BBQ this place offers, so we decided to try it out. My brisket was dry, but the beans were wonderful. I don't use sauce on my BBQ, but I did try it, I must say, it was very good. We will definitely have to try it again, may have been an off day... More

This definitely falls in the category of a hole in the wall. The food was better than average, but the best in Texas, uh... No. Don't let the look of the place deter you if you are driving by, but I wouldn't drive out of my way to visit. The owner came out and sociable.

We stuck around Kerrville for 40 minutes waiting for Cal-Bob's to open because of the wonderful reviews. The brisket was the driest I have ever eaten. It was closer to beef jerky. We were very disappointed. The potato salad and coleslaw were good, but not good enough to make up for dry meat. I have serious questions about the reviews,... More
