Don't let this little sleepy looking cafe fool you. The food is extraordinary. Breakfast choices are not just your common sausage, eggs and pancakes. They offer a wonderful Eggs Sardou and a smoked brisket hash that is excellent. I can't wait to go for lunch or dinner as I saw home-made yeast rolls rising in the kitchen while we were... More

Unlike so many local restaurants, the Rio Ranch establishment offers a fairly wide variety of good food at affordable prices. The selection ranges from Mexican, Texan, American to specialty. Some choices, like the Eggs Benedict, stretch the culinary skills of the chef (cook), none-the-less this spot has become one of my local favorites. The wait staff are always pleasant and... More

A real sleeper of a cafe, with blackened salmon salad, blackened salmon tacos, bbq ribs, Asian salad, etc. Quite an eclectic menu! And, you know the portions will be large with all the pickup trucks parked around. They also serve a killer breakfast -- all day long...both traditional and Mexican!

I usually go here for breakfast. I love the selection and the prices. Favs are: farmers breakfast, and pancakes.People working there are nice and helpful. I love the nachos too.

We've eaten at Rio Ranch Cafe numerous times and have never been disappointed. Only negative is they close early and we tend to end up eating later. They recently added BBQ and both times the food was excellent including the sides of which there is a good variety to chose from. Service have always been good as well. I do... More

... east of El Paso! The breakfast burritos are excellent, and the chicken-fried steak benefits greatly from their marinade. We've been there several times, and the service has always been friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable, and portions are large.

I ordered the chef salad. It had very little lettuce...no cheese whatsoever on it...the waiter never came back to see how it was. I told them when I paid....they said "oh sorry". Needless to say...I left $7.95 plus tax poorer and starving...Not even a cracker with it...or offer or more water.....etc. etc.

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed dinner here. This is a very casual restaurant with lots of choices on the menu. Breakfast is served all day. I had an egg, hashbrowns and toast for less than $4. I didn't realize they slathered melted butter on the toast; next time, I'll ask for dry toast. My husband and daughter had large... More

Rio Ranch Café is tucked at the front of a little strip center in Ingram. Don't let its unassuming architecture fool you. This is a great little find and a favorite of the locals. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is great. I tried the Brisket Tamales - a unique concoction of tender brisket and corn masa put together... More

Great menu. We have had something from every part of it and have always been happy. It's a good value too you won't spend all you money. Truly one of the best places to eat in the hill country.
