Nice find! Great staff!

My husband and my father ate here today. We arrived about an hour before closing time but it didn't matter. The ladies who served us were friendly as can be and the food was super good. Nice little place! We will definitely be back!

If you're passing through the Texas Hill Country on I-10, take the Kerrville exit and head to Bill's Bar-B-Que between Kerrville and Ingram. It's the real deal and often overlooked, with oak wood stacked outside next to the smoke-christened pits manned by Joe Marino Jr., whose family has owned Bill's for decades. I had a juicy, thick sliced turkey sandwich... More

We ordered what we always do... ribs, pulled pork and brisket. The ribs and pulled pork were stellar but this visit the brisket was a bit chewy. I guess that comes with the territory - not all cuts of meat are equal so sometimes the resulting product can reflect that. But I am still a believer in Bill's, because of... More

We were on a business trip and Bills catered our lunch. It was pretty good but not the best. The sauce had a wang to it that did not sit well. The potato salad was good but I'm a mustard potato salad kind a guy. The brisket and sausage alone were pretty good. Servers we great meal was good...But I've... More

It's always delicious, and the waitstaff is always very kind. I can't recommend anything on the menu, because it's all good.

Honestly, I've eaten a lot of BBQ. We got Bills for a group of 20. Paid $300 with three meats and sides. Taste of the meat is smokey and luscious and worth the money!

My brother and I were on a motorcycle trip from Indiana. We wanted some authentic Texas BBQ... and we got it. This is a small, older building that honestly doesn't look like much. Don't be deceived. The people there were extremely nice and made us feel right at home. The inside was older, but clean and authentic. The food was... More

So, we were hungry, and the plan had been to go up to Hunt and get burgers at Rio Rancho #2, but we couldn't wait that long. We had passed Bill's numerous times, and finally stopped. Family owned, wonderful pits with outdoor seating, and the inside of the building can only be described as classic Texana. Photos cover the walls,... More

My husband and I got chicken and brisket here to take home. Both were extremely dry and overcooked. I won't go back unless it is to try their barbequed cabrito.
