Great seafood, very good service, outdoor deck on a canal

Family get together, we ordered red snapper and received the largest fish portion I can remember. The owner makes all the dishes from scratch, even better! The rest of the order was cabbage rolls & cocunut shrimp, everyone agreed, great fresh food. With the combination of wonderful service... read more

I have eaten here twice. The first time was only OK. The second time was an absolutely awful meal. The presentation was poor and the food was terrible. And, it was the special of the night!. There is no reason to return.

Hawaiian Pancakes! a must have for any pancake lover. the food is prepared and cooked fresh so don't be in a hurry when you come to eat! the staff is so friendly and spot on with drink refills and checking to see if the food is just right!

We have visited at least 4 times (mostly breakfast). Its pretty standard for eggs bacon, and toast. One visit was dinner for corned beef and it was tasty, just average though.

Hubby had the hamburger and salad. Both were cooked fine and he enjoyed his meal. Son had the Reuben and a salad. Reuben bread was soggy but the amount of meat was good. I had the seared tuna appetizer. A bit overpriced. Tuna was dull pink, not seared just cooked, smelled very sour to me and tasted bad. Offered a... More

From the first bite..Delicious! I had the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was full of flavor and substance. The tortilla, sausage, eggs, onion and cheese were nicely balanced, not too much of one ingredient. The Salsa was also good, a little smokey and sweet. The patio on the canal is quite and nice for a morning cup of coffee, newspaper... More

We wat outside and the view of the canal was nice, although I am not fond of picnic tables. There is no alcohol, so drinks are limited unless BYOB. The food was not extraordinary and was somewhat overpriced. I got the cabbage rolls which were supposed to come with boiled parsley potatoes. I didn't want boiled potatoes so asked to... More

I've visited the Marina Cafe several times while on business. I've never ordered off of the menu, but have always had one of the daily specials, usually whatever is recommended by the owner/chef. He has never steered me wrong yet. Excellent food and generally unique specials. The cafe interior is dated and in need of a remodel, but I always... More

Ordered bacon cheese burger! Burger was large ,well cooked and enjoyable. OPPS they forgot the Bacon! Same price at checkout ! Fries were limp undercooked and greasy with a slight chicken flavor and left puddle of grease on plate. My guess grease not hot enough and used for chicken and not changed. Staff friendly but inattentive I had too ask... More

Visited Marina Café for the second time tonight. Last week, I had a skillet steak with jambalaya rice and spinach. It was good. Tonight, I took a couple of friends for dinner. It was customer appreciation night (nice surprise), so food and drink on the back deck were free. The music was a little loud for my spouse, so we... More
