Awesome place with a great variety and friendly owners! John Wayne was delicious. Don't let the name fool you, it's more than just a hoagie shop!

My husband and I really enjoyed this stop. The inside of the restaurant is not what we expected. Just to go in there, scale the walls, and see all of the items on display is well worth the stop. Service was outstanding, and our hoagies were great! There are many options for everyone...even homemade lasagna! I highly recommend this stop.... More

We eat here at least once a week. The Wyatt Earp and the John Wayne are the best. Great steak fries too. They even got Lousiana Hot Sauce........!!!!!

I have eaten here several times. The food is solid, but not outstanding. The prices are extremely high for what you get. Last visit for lunch we split a 12" French Dip, order of fries, and 2 drinks. The bill was well over $20 before tip. This is high even by Kemah standards. There is never a wait for a... More

This place is chock full of memorabilia which the owners have amassed over the years. The NASA astronauts hang out here and there is a fascinating wall of very personal space stuff. A one off. And great food too!

This place absolutely kills the nearby commercial chain sub places. They even have homemade lasagna, enormous steak night and homemade pies that look like a slice of heaven. Dont miss it! The wait is zero in comparison to waterfront places. It is extremely casual and often closed on unusual days and unexpected times...so good to call ahead or at least... More

Locals do not eat at the boardwalk. We eat at local establishments, owned by members of the community. Hoagie ranch sees us at least once a week, either takeout, lunch, our the great steak special on Friday nights. This family operation closes Saturday evenings and Sunday for family time but offers consistently good food throughout the week. Cajun Roast beef... More
