If you like to eat where the locals go when you're traveling - this is the place to go in Kemah. We found it when we looked up places to eat in Kemah and it scored very highly. I have to say that I agree with everyone else that scored it! My husband and I ate breakfast at Skipper's. The... More

This was the best place we ate in the 5 days we were in Kemah. A very local place. All the food is hand made and the price is right. The shrimp was fresh and local. Great deserts.

I get a bit suspicious when a bunch of different ethnic varieties are being prepared. The wife had red snapper and I had hamburger steak with a baked potato. Our... More

My family and I went here for the first time today after reading positive reviews. Instead of a positive dining experience it ended up being the worst experience any of us ever had in our lives. The server wrote down all of our orders wrong but one. Our youngest daughter received her food and it was fine. The rest of... More

Had baked red fish with all the trimmings, big portions and sides. Can't beat their prices, food and friendly service. Great location!

This is a clean little restaurant with pleasant waitresses. You just have to know what to order in these neighborhood places. Not everything is perfect. But, their omelets are fabulous, to say the least. Of course there are many kinds, with sides of bacon or sausage, etc. and hash browns and toast. Try their homemade sausa on yours. The owner,... We had breakfast at Skipper's and I am ready for more! After much deliberation over all the delicious sounding selections, I settled on the spinach and feta omelet. Excellent choice! I am going to try to duplicate it at home. Light, fluffy, and delicious!
