Landry's used to be a place where you could get great Seafood but something has happened to them. On a recent visit in December 2014 not only was the food not up to their standards, it was way below their standards. Maybe they have expanded too much. If it wasn't bad enough that the food wasn't up to Applebee's standards,... More

Second time I felt like my business wasn't appreciated at the bar. While waiting on our to-go order we tried for 10 minutes get the bartender to take our order... finally we get a beer, Then after 30 more minutes I inquired about our food. It had been sitting in the kitchen waiting on her to pick it up. So... More

The restaurant is located on the Kemah Boardwalk so there is some good boat watching opportunities. We had a window table with a beautiful view of the water. The food was somewhat bland and uninspired for the costs. I would rank it below a Pappadeaux type quality with similar or higher cost. The service was excellent but I will probably... More

Landry's chain of restaurants have a formula for consistently good food and experience regardless of locale... If in season, the crawfish platter is recommended.

We enjoyed the view and the food however discovered later that you really to be careful with the bill. They give you suggested tips in excess of 45% listed under 20% when you split the bill. When I called management to fix the tip, she instructed me to call and place a dispute with my credit company. When all was... More

Landry's is a good value if you are looking for basic seafood options. Their menu is not particularly creative but the food is consistently good and priced at a good value.

The food we ate here did not taste like it came from a chain restaurant. We had the blackened redfish with Creole topping and asparagus....IT WAS TO DIE FOR! The bartender also recommended a new Pinot Noir wine that we really enjoyed. Seating is also available near the windows with a great view if you like to see the water.... More

Mystery (aka lobster) bisque, tasted like a mixture of tomato bisque and cheese soup. Seafood gumbo = seafood no no. Not the consistency of a gumbo at all. More like beef broth with rice and 4 shrimp. No other visible seafood. Bread is awesome. Wine was ok after having to request a clean glass. Yeah, that happened. I did like... More

If you like fresh seafood, this is the place to go. It is located right on the Kemah boardwalk, close to attractions and shops. When it's not busy, it's nice to be able to be seated right by the water where you can see the boats sailing to and from the Gulf of Mexico.

I am a huge fan of great crab cakes; some restaurants use a lot of filler in their preparation well, you are in for a whoo awww treat. They use all crabmeat and the best seasoning I have ever tasted!
