The special on the day that I went was Mahi Mahi, and it was to die for!! It was so tender and moist with crab stuffing and drizzled with a light sauce that made the whole dish come together. I loved the way it was prepared - not dried out or tough like I've had at other restaurants. For desert... More

I visited in December so it was the off season. I found the clam chowder, while untraditional, delicious. I grew up on puget sound and have eaten my fare share of clam chowder. I would lpbe there receipe. My son got fried seafood that he went on about but did complain the portion could have been larger. I will definatly... More

We were in Kemah with the whole family for a few days. Chose the Flying Dutchman because the menu looks so good. The fresh oysters was my draw to going. They didn't disappoint me at all. I had the fisherman's platter and loved it. Everything was so fresh and hot. I don't think anyone in our party of 11 had... More

We were staying at the Boardwalk Inn right outside the door the the Flying Dutchman and decided to have dinner there with two other couples. We originally picked it for convenience but the food and service was top notch. It's off season and it wasn't crowded and I'm sure that allowed our server to spend more time taking care of... More

If you're near Kehma, League City, Webster area, this Boardwalk has some nice options for dinner. FD serves great seafood, shrimp, snapper, calamares and some good beers.

As a Kemah local this is the only eatery at the Boardwalk that rates a visit. The rest are chain style places that frankly you can get anywhere in the southern US a bit cheaper and a lot less crowded. The Dutchman is a longtime establishment that has somehow managed to hang on to it's identity on the Boardwalk. Good... More

Drinks were amazing. Food was even more amazing and the service was excellent. Evan and Ryne treated us like family. We really enjoyed our food. The fire pit was very nice. You absolutely have to try the Crab crostini! Thanks for making us feel so special!

Been coming here to Kemah for a long time and always stop here, the outside seating is a must if weather permits. The have an outside bar and a fire pit for those cold evenings. This place took a beating after Ike but looks great now. The prices are your typical Seafood but is totally worth its value! The views... More

DEAR FLYING DUTCHMAN MANAGEMENT PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW!!!! I am from out of town and was invited by a friend of mine to Kema to enjoy the evening at the boardwalk 9/27/14. We were hungry so we went to eat first. We arrived to The Flying Dutchman and were seated. We had been waiting at our table approximately 15-20 minutes... More
