Another great restaurant on the boardwalk. The service is great! The food is fabulous and I love sitting on their outside patio to eat. It's great to be able to enjoy while watching the water.

The Flying Dutchman is truly one of those spots that we just love. Food, atmosphere, Food, oh did I say food? There were three of us at this visit, just friends ordering and enjoying all different dishes, all superb. What a treat for the senses! Next time we're in TX, we'll certainly visit again.

We really enjoyed the fresh oysters, off to a good start! The soups were also very good (she had Clam Chowder and I the Bisque). She said her Stuffed Flounder was a little dry (but she ate it all) and the grilled veggies were spot on. I had the Half Crawfish Tails & Half Crawfish Étouffée - very nice. Recommended.

Bill at the Space Center gave us a voucher for this restaurant. This indicated clearly that we could either have free appetisers or free desserts. When we entered we straight away asked our server if the appetisers were free. He assured us that they were free and we could order any from the menu. We ordered crostini with crab ($14.99)... More

A person at the conference I attended recommended I check out the Flying Dutchman. The weather was great so I sat outside on the deck with a nice view of the channel with the gulf in the distance. I enjoyed the Asian tuna which was good albeit a little overpriced. This is certainly a tourist place but it was enjoyable.... More

We were visiting the area with family and the flying Dutchman was chosen as the place to eat. We had Zucchini and mushroom appetizers. Entrees ranged from Fish and chips to mushroom burgers. Everything looked well presented and tasted great! The frozen margaritas were good. The waitress was training a new employee, but, in the end we were missing a... More

While visiting Kemah, we reviewed all of the Landry's restaurants at the location and decided we would try The Flying Dutchman, since we had ate at most of the other restaurants. We made a great decision. It was a Wednesday evening and we were seated immediately in the patio area along the boardwalk next to the shipping channel. We started... More

Stopped in for an afternoon drink and snack. Ordered a doz. Oysters, a shrimp Po'Boy and a cup of clam chowder, All three were very good. The place is busy and service was a little slow. Prices are a tad on the high side but open air dining on the canal is nice.

The food was wonderful and the staff was very polite and very willing to make sure that the meal was cooked perfect. A table beside us received a steak that wasn't cooked to their liking and when she told her waiter he went and took the plate right then and there and the chef came and apologized and brought the...
