Friday night deal on raw oysters!

$8 for a dozen oysters on the halfshell! Wow. A great way to start a meal. Then, seafood bisque in a bread bowl (really decadently heavy on the cream) then finished with pecan pie. So good... so, so good. Excellent service. I would definitely go back!

Very disappointing and expensive. How do you mess up fish and chips? Boiled Shrimp came out spiced up, covered in Louisiana hot sauce, not at all described on the menu. Extra Caesars salad ordered was tasteless and waterlogged! We won't be back to overpay for this mediocrity.

The service was fast efficient. Food quantity very generous and quality was good. They have outdoor seating but beware on the mosquitos in spring and summer. Also outside you may run into stray cats.

Waiters and waitresses are very responsive, professional and engaging. You know they are working hard because of the number of tables they are serving but they make you feel as though you are the only people in the restaurant. Great choices on the menu and large portions. Everything was very tasty.

We stopped here from the boardwalk to have seafood and drinks after a long afternoon of driving. The menu was perfect with plenty of selections for seafood lovers like us! Don't skip dessert! We got ours to go and headed a few doors down to the Boardwalk Inn for the night. Key lime pie was great! Pecan pie was lacking.... More

Was recommended to come here by the staff at our Hilton Hotel and we were not disappointed. Arrived for the happy hour at around 5.30p.m. which was very good value for money and then proceeded to have dinner. Service was very attentive without being over the top and always with a smile and helpful suggestions. My husband and I ordered... More

We stayed close by the night before a cruise and decided to visit the area. We stopped by Landrys but it was an hour wait so decided to walk around. We came across The Flying Dutchman and decided to give it a shot. No wait and were greeted by friendly staff. Mai Tai and Sunset cocktails were delicious and reasonably... More

Party of two. Oysters on the half shell were good. Oysters Bienville were very good. My husband ordered fried oysters they were poorly prepared. More breading than oysters. Atmosphere good. Good waitstaff. He realized husband was not satisfied with entree and removed them from bill.

Too much breading in the crab cakes. The shrimp were nothing to write home about. French fries pretty tasty. Not my 1st choice in Kemah!

The special on the day that I went was Mahi Mahi, and it was to die for!! It was so tender and moist with crab stuffing and drizzled with a light sauce that made the whole dish come together. I loved the way it was prepared - not dried out or tough like I've had at other restaurants. For desert... More
