Good food nice views of the boats in the bay. The food is pricey. The staff is friendly. There is a wait, espically on the weekends.

This is our 4th time here! The staff are wonderful! Food is great! Very nice place to eat! The steaks are awesome! I love the blackens catfish with crawfish étouffée on top! And the twice baked potato is yummy

The staff at boardwalk inn highly recommended the flying dutchman, a Landry restaurant. They prepare seafood 6 ways. Several items for non-seafood diners too. Excellent service! Good view of bay.

This restaurant had excellent service and view. Many restaraunts that are located on part of a tourist attraction also come with the prices and quality of food suffers. The prices were reasonable. The food was good, but it was nothing special. The server was very attentive and friendly. The view was of the waterway that led out to the bay.... More

Another great restaurant on the boardwalk. The service is great! The food is fabulous and I love sitting on their outside patio to eat. It's great to be able to enjoy while watching the water.

The Flying Dutchman is truly one of those spots that we just love. Food, atmosphere, Food, oh did I say food? There were three of us at this visit, just friends ordering and enjoying all different dishes, all superb. What a treat for the senses! Next time we're in TX, we'll certainly visit again.

We really enjoyed the fresh oysters, off to a good start! The soups were also very good (she had Clam Chowder and I the Bisque). She said her Stuffed Flounder was a little dry (but she ate it all) and the grilled veggies were spot on. I had the Half Crawfish Tails & Half Crawfish Étouffée - very nice. Recommended.

Bill at the Space Center gave us a voucher for this restaurant. This indicated clearly that we could either have free appetisers or free desserts. When we entered we straight away asked our server if the appetisers were free. He assured us that they were free and we could order any from the menu. We ordered crostini with crab ($14.99)... More

A person at the conference I attended recommended I check out the Flying Dutchman. The weather was great so I sat outside on the deck with a nice view of the channel with the gulf in the distance. I enjoyed the Asian tuna which was good albeit a little overpriced. This is certainly a tourist place but it was enjoyable.... More
