Whether on a date or a special night out this is the place to go in the Kemah area. Their New York Strip or Red Snapper entrees are my personal favorites.

We didn't realize the restaurant was not open all day and arrived for a late lunch/early dinner about 4:20. Since it didn't open for dinner until 5, we drove around the nearby waterfront homes for awhile and came back still before 5. However, the manager came out to our car and very nicely said he would open early for us... More

Kemah is a nice little fishing village with a touristy side and this place seems like an intersection of the two sides of the area. Nice informal ambience and a patio (A/C for me in June, thanks). Service was great and the staff was upbeat. Friendly and attentive. I had shrimp and grits and son had the artichoke (a rare... More

I loved sitting outside right by the water. The waiter was very accommodating. Took pains to make sure we had the food and drinks the way we like them. Fresh yummy seafood! Prices are a bit high but not terrible.

Top notch food at reasonable prices. On the water. A little too noisy with concrete floors with hard walls and ceilings---try upstairs when available.

This place does everything well from the Valet to deserts. Great dining room and cool deck. The wait staff and bartenders are on their game. Off the beaten path and away from all the chain restaurants. Relax and get ready for a good time and great meal. Order anything off the menu and you will be happy.

It had been almost a year before going back last night . . . WOW!! We (two couples) had a great experience. The food from the Appetizers to the Desert was excellent, prepared & presented very well. This is a small place but yet even though there is a bar in the main room, it is not noisy (or it... More

Opus Bistro is a hidden gem for upscale dinning in the Clear Lake / Houston area. Located in the island community of Clear lake Shores you can come by boat, car or as the locals do by golf cart! First the staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. The bar service is first class and the wine selection is superb for... More

We went to this place on the Trip Advisor recommendations. It was well worth the trip for the crab cakes alone! We also had the special of the day with Mahi Mahi and scallops...the waiter failed to mention that each scallop would add $3.50 to our meal for each scallop. I don't even like scallops, so it would have been... More

After googling for a good place we settled on opus as our choice. And boy we selected correctly. The owner squeezed us in on a Mothers Day afternoon. The crab bisque and special was wonderful. Desert was sold out but creme brûlée was just wonderful. Finer palates will appreciate this little gem. Being from Dallas we are happy to chosen,... More
