Nice setting but food average

Visited Rainforest at Katy Mills Mall for my daughters birthday. While the setting is fun and intriguing, the food was uninspiring.

We went here for our family meal for my son's 7th birthday primarily for the atmosphere. Food left a lot to be desired and was not really touched much by anyone, and very pricey for what you get. However, the volcano dessert was great - actually tasted good and lots of fun. I would not go back for the food,... More

I went to Rainforest Cafe during an evening shopping trip during a business trip. I had been to this restaurant brand before, so knew generally what to expect. I was greeted and seated by a friendly server, who told me that "this was one of the best seats in the house". I was close to the 'animals' and this was... More

I went, as my 12 year old nice thought it would be a fun place to go. Don't expect to talk during your meal as it's SO loud. Between the animal noises, the waterfall, and the thunderstorm, I couldn't hear myself think. The food prices are very high and the food is marginal. I will however say, that Paul, our... More

We visited Rainforest Cafe after some shopping, and did not get disappointed. Ambiance is hard to surpass when you are going out with the kids. We started with mozzarella sticks that were really good. I had Jumbo Steak and Shrimp, and my wife had pasta with shrimps. For the kids we had Alfredo Python Pasta. Everything was delicious

Been to both the Katy location and Galveston. Food was not bad and service was good. The food was a little over priced for what it was.

We ate lunch here. We ordered the past primavera and our child had the grilled cheese and fries. Our food quality was not that great. Our child's lunch was fine. Lots of noise inside the restaurant with animal and jungle noise. Service was average and food was slow to come out. Manager came by to ask us how everything was... More

This is OK for the very young but not where I would go for an expensive date night out. We have taken our three grand daughters here for most of their birthdays until they are about 10 years old. We celebrated our youngest's birthday here at her request. The food is actually reasonably good but also very overpriced and the... More

It is rare to find a children's place that also has good food. Many stock cardboard pizza and make money off the kids' games but at the Rainforest Cafe, children are entertained by life size animal models that come out every few minutes to trumpet or howl while grown-ups actually enjoy the eating experience. Paul was our "safari guide" and... More

We went there as a couple and although the atmosphere was great and the servers friendly the service was slow and the food was average. Go there if you have kids but if you are a couple go somewhere else.
