Decent food-Great Atmosphere.

The food is alright, but over priced for what you get. If you've never been here and have kids you should certainly check it out. As for me and one other person and a child spent $60 with tip. So you're paying more for the experience.

We stopped here to eat on our way through Houston. We knew my 2 1/2 year old would enjoy the atmosphere. We didn't expect much in terms of the food, but we were very surprised that all of our meals were great! What surprised us the most was how seriously they took my son's dairy allergy. Once I told the... More

First came here about five years ago and I was somewhat shocked to see nothing had changed. The service wasn't bad and the people were great but the mechanical gorillas shout every five minutes or so and even though there was barely anyone there, the noise level was to the point everyone at my table had to shout. The only... More

The restaurant was just across from our hotel and inside the Mall which made it very convenient for the family. The ambiance of this place is pretty awesome specially for kids. The automated characters were neat and the every now and then rain storm was pretty cool as well. The food was good too.

My kids love this place, but I'm not a fan. The food isn't bad, but there is nothing remotely healthy on the menu. Most of the fish is fried. Burger and fries is probably your best option

The food is just okay but the real attraction is the atmosphere they've created with the animals and rainforest. Our children loved this place when they were little and now that they are almost teenagers they still enjoy the huge fish tank and the rumble of the thunder for the different robotic animals to make sounds. Worth a visit if... More

We are so happy that my birthday celebration went off well at this restaurant. It has lots of movement of the animals and the birthday volcano dessert with the sparkles was WONDERFUL!

We were taken to Rainforest by the group we were with and really enjoyed our visit. The cafe is geared somewhat toward kids, but my wife and I really enjoyed our visit. The rain forest design and the animitronics going on around us made it a noisy place, but that is to be expected. The kids in our group loved... More

The atmosphere is always fun for the entire family. I strongly recommend exploring the Landrys Select Card offered by the restaurant. We have used this at Rainforest Cafe in both Katy and Grapevine. Both locations usually have a 30 to 90 minute wait for seating. Being a card member, we are always seated immediately. Well worth the consideration.

I've been to the one in Galveston years ago and I remember it wasn't that great. Now that we have kids, we thought they might like the atmosphere. My kids absolutely loved it. The food was much better than I remember. Actually it was delicious. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because while there seemed to be plenty of... More
