I eat at Los Cucos in old Katy and at Katy Mills. The help is great, the food has great taste, the appearance is nice, and me and family members seem to always enjoy what we ordered. Managers keep the prices right. Drinks of choice.

Texas is a tough environment for mexican restuarants, with one every square mile it seems. With the competition, you've got to be good (food quality and pricing) to stay in business. Los Cucos has not only survived, but flourished with a number of restuarants opened in the Southeast Texas area. Good good, appetizers, fresh chips and salsa, great fajitas (some... More

I have been to Los Cucos on several occasions for lunch. It has always been a good experience. I like the menu that features some different items from the typical Tex-Mex food like the fried avocado. The place is not fancy but the wait staff is friendly and the food excellent.

Always good food and service. Great for family and prices are reasonable. We have been customers for 20 years and this is by-far the best Mexican Food in all of Houston, if not the US.

This is my favourite Tex/Mex place. Good food, good service and Mariachi Band at weekends always makes the experience more authentic. The fresh guacamole is worth trying and goes with well the home made nacho chips. The waiting staff are friendly and the decor is good. Recommended.

Los Cucos has been around for a long time because it is good food for good prices. For example, the Chicken Fajitas for two is $27. We added a sauce for an extra $2. It feed 3 adults and there was enough to take home and chop up and mix with our scrambled eggs the next morning. They different sauces... More

Thanks to their wait staff forcing drink up sells without asking, they are losing my patronage, and gaining an enemy. Two trips now, they have made the more expensive $14ea margarita, not the house as asked. We didn't ask for added shots of herredura or Cuervo gold, but we got them. Trying to get us drunk so we don't pay... More

This is a Katy favorite. Great food at a great price. You need to check this one out. Be sure to try the green chili salsa, it is homemade.

Food is very good. Homemade tortillas are delicious, cannot have only one. I highly recommend Carnitas a Los Cucos which is pork sauteed in tomato and the squeezed lime Margaritas.
