We used to live in Katy and be at Los Cucos once a week. Since we've moved away, we try and visit whenever we're in the area. This has got to be the best in Texas! A bit pricey for the queso, but other than that, reasonable prices, and great food. Love their enchiladas, fajitas, whatever you order is great!... More

This is real Mexican food and it's really good. Check for mariachis' days are great. Kids also enjoy it and good place for special occasions. Try it

Los Cucos is a coveted local restaurant with a combination of authentic Mexican and Tex Mex. the atmosphere is loud and busy - definitely kid/family friendly. They also have live mariachi music at times.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch one day and we must have both ordered the wrong items... I really wanted to like this place, but the food was just bland. The guac was runny and flavorless, the salsa was lacking any zing, and the entrees were simply boring. I tried the beef Tacos A La Cucos and my... More

First off, the chips and two kinds of dip were amazing. The entree portions are huge. I could only finish a fourth of my plate. Everything I ordered was delicious! Highly recommend if you're ever in Katy, and you love spicy food:)

We have visited this restaurant any time we come to Katy. We really look forward to it. The food is awesome, drinks are cold, but this particular time, they forgot my food order. My wife's food was there minutes after we order and I waited for about 10 minutes. The waiter came back a couple of times but he seemed... More

Based upon all of the favorable reviews I read, I made the effort to stop in last night for dinner. The place is huge - but it wasn't crowded at all. The place needs a thorough cleaning - dirty tables, dirty floors, and the bar was atrocious! I hate to think what the kitchen looks like.... The guys behind the... More

Another great meal at Los Cucos. You can get traditional Tex-Mex or some of the lighter non-traditional versions. I had Carnitas w a unusual (and good) chicken enchilada. Sauces are great.

It's not fancy inside or out - but it's clean and comfortable - a very large restaurant. The menu is more extensive than most Mexican restaurants - lots to choose from in all the standard categories of grilled meats, enchiladas, tacos and much, much more! The portions are huge and the food is wonderful! Reasonably priced and well worth the... More

We were traveling past Houston around lunchtime and were looking for a place off the interstate. There were newish chains on one side of the interstate and and checked Tripadvisor and found this restaurant very close to us. It was on the other side of the interstate near a railroad track, not a pretty area. The restaurant is in a... More
