If your going to spend money at a chain resturant and want good fish go to papadeauxs . The portions are average and the quality is similar to a chilis, the price point is not great for the quality. I had a fish dish with no salsa . The fish was ok , but the portion at lunch was small... More

We have family living in Katy, Tx. Whenever we visit them, we take the family to Fish City Grill Se real times for both lunch and dinner. The service is always good and the menu is good for all of us, even the children.

On a busy Friday night near the end of summer, our group of four found ourselves going from restaurant to restaurant in La Centera looking for a good place (without an hour wait). We stumbled on Fish City Grill and were pleasantly surprised. The place was busy (but not packed) and we were seated immediately. The casual, laid back atmosphere... More

Holds it's own in Katy. Ok menu selection, service good, prices, reasonable, shellfish excellent. Can be hectic and noisy.

This was one of our favorite places in Katy when we lived there. Now that we live elsewhere, we try to go there when we are back in Katy. Try as we might, my husband and I always end up splitting the fish tacos. They are great, and just the right amount for the two of us. Sometimes we have... More

Part of an expanding chain with a limited menue that appeals to both couples and families. Limited atmosphere, good service and reasonable prices.

I always hear a lot of good chatter about this place, and a client brought me here for lunch. The server was very sweet and attentive, and the interior is nice, as well as outside. But that is where it stops. I don't do farm raised seafood on purpose, and I know when you eat seafood out you run that... More

We had dinner there for the first time and our server was delightful. She was friendly and helpful and insisted on bringing us "on the house" samples of all the soups. It did take a really long time for our food which was surprising because the place was not busy on a Monday night. We really enjoyed our experience and... More

Not impressed. There are other better seafood restaurants in Katy/Houston. I had the blackened shrimp and substituted gumbo for the fries and slaw. It was very little food. Felt like I needed to stop at McDonalds for a snack afterward. The food was ok, just not enough of it.
