Simple and good

Stopped in for a burger and was not disappointed. Nice staff, clean place, good food. Lots of cars in the driveway is always a good sign. Works for me.

I'm A native Texan and this restaurant is right down my alley for very good Texas comfort food! The wait staff is very friendly and attentive! Large selection of all kinds of food! Great sweet potato fries! Great decorations! I Can't wait for my next visit!

I had often passed this place, saw that it was often crowded, and thought I'd try it. I wasn't impressed - if a burger costs upwards of 8 bucks, fries should not be $2.25 extra. I had the bowl of chili...not sure what can it came out of, but it tasted like canned chili, possibly Wolf. The wife had the... More

I have been dining and taking out from Texas Tradition since it opened and rarely disappointed. Last night a disappointment turned into a big thank-you. I stopped to get the Friday night catfish special and take it home. Unfortunately, the glass of wine I usually have while waiting on my to-go order came to me at the same time my... More

My good friend, one of her boy's family, and myself ate here a couple of weeks ago. Her son told us that they had the best chicken fried steaks around. I totally agree with him. I will definitely eat there again.

Here is simple down home nothing fancy restaurant that has good service and makes a great chicken fried steak. Whether local or cruising by, I would recommend this place over all the chain restaurants.

It looks out of the way, but the service and food were quite good. Initially I was concerned when we drove up to it, but people said the food there was pretty good. My friends raved over the steak and the shrimp. The cobbler wasn't too bad either.

This place is fun for whole family. Great food and drinks, lots of TVs. One of my favs are the fried jalapeños, tortilla soup, and Caesar salad with salmon. There quail bites are also to die for, but a bit pricey.

It has the look, feel and charm of a small city, but the prices are way out of budget these days. Feels like the price goes up each time I visit. I feel bad about the food prices even when my boss offers to pay. I can get the same elsewhere. I could go to a chain, or I could... More

Love Friday nights on the patio with the band and good friends. The all you can eat catfish is always a winner.
