This place is fun for whole family. Great food and drinks, lots of TVs. One of my favs are the fried jalapeños, tortilla soup, and Caesar salad with salmon. There quail bites are also to die for, but a bit pricey.

It has the look, feel and charm of a small city, but the prices are way out of budget these days. Feels like the price goes up each time I visit. I feel bad about the food prices even when my boss offers to pay. I can get the same elsewhere. I could go to a chain, or I could... More

Love Friday nights on the patio with the band and good friends. The all you can eat catfish is always a winner.

Had the mega 24 Oz T-BONE steak to go. It took longer then what I was told by the friendly lady it would take but it was worth the extra wait in gold!

Was in a hurry to a meeting and wanted a quick burger, stopped here and noticed alot of people were coming in to order. Placed my order to go, when I got to the meeting, I opened my bag and I tell you, I had never tasted a burger this good... and huge! I will take another trip to Katy... More

The hamburgers here are large and juicy, served quickly. We also ordered onion rings and deep fried mushrooms which are both in light batters, and fried perfectly.

I don't know where the trip advisor photo was taken, but the luxury interior shown above does not in any way depict Texas tradition in Katy. It is galvanized tin and chip board, and rustic Texas. Frankly, I have had better meals there. The owners used to greet you and they are always absent. The food, is maybe slightly above... More

Three of us had lunch, 1 meatloaf special, 1 Patty Melt, and 1 Bacon Cheeseburger, 3 Iced Teas. $35 We declined the sides, as French Fries at $2.25 extra was steep. Other sides like onion rings or Sweet potato fries went up from there. I can understand charging extra fo anything extra beyond fries or chips, but most any restaurant/burger... More

Great place. Homey, good service, good burgers and chicken-fried steak. Live music on the back deck ofn friday's. Small sandbox for the kiddies in the way back. Inexpensive--easy to find-conveniently located. Only downsides--on the rare very cold day in katy the heat isn't adequate (or wasn't last winter). It also can get a bit smoky at times from the smokers.

Whether its breakfast or All-you-can-eat catfish fridays this place is awesome. They make one of the best tasting burgers in town and I have never been diappointed. Great for families as well, there is a playground in the back and live music on Fridays.
