I came here with a group of 10. We had reservations, being it was a Saturday night. We were promptly seated. The service here is very good. All of the staff was very friendly. And the views are awesome. If the weather had been better, we would have sat on the patio. It's right on the bayou. It took no... More

We ate here while waiting to board the pontoon cruise through the bayous on Caddo Lake. Super friendly staff, good food, expansive buffet, very nice lodge-feel restaurant with big patio looking out over river. The Graceful Ghost also boards here. Highly recommend this little stop off the beaten path. Pretty easy to find, but be warned you get very little... More

A little out of the way, but worth the drive. Sitting on the bayou with a great view. Food is good ol' Cajun style served from the buffet or the menu. ordered from the buffet was replete because it was replete with catfish, shrimp and other sea food items. All was delicious. If you are so inclines, there are ghost... More

My son and I visited the lodge for dinner after the steamboat cruise. The catfish filets were delicious! The waitress was a lot of fun, clearly picking us out as first time visitors. She made certain that we had all the extra items to go with our dinner. The setting is great, especially looking out over the lawn and watching... More

We visited the lodge after a football game with our 9-11 year old grandchildren, and their mom. There were six in our party. We chose to sit outside on the patio. The kids explored the dock and scenery while we nibbled on the complimentary hush puppies and coleslaw. The table favorite was the jalopena hush puppies. They were quite good.... More

The Big Pine Lodge has two things working in its favor. A great location looking over Caddo Lake among the Spanish moss covered hardwoods and pine trees and good food that is prepared fresh and hot to order. The catfish is definitely the star of the menu served as filets or whole catfish options. The catfish is perfectly seasoned in... More

Great place along the river. Not only did we have breakfast there, we ate dinner two days in a row. Food is reasonable and very good.

I went while they were having a buffet. The catfish was delicious and the other choices on the buffet were good, too, especially the corn nuggets. Yum! This isn't in Jefferson but a few miles down the road in Uncertain. It overlooks the Caddo River. Very nice!

The food was good and the staff were great. We were greeted by an "official greeter" while we were dining. She was very friendly and gave us a brief history of the place. We took in a quick meal here before going on the Graceful Ghost tour.

great view of the river, great catfish and hushpuppies and a wait staff that takes good care of your needs. Down home cooking at it's best, it is no wonder that they are a local tradition.
