The waitress was fantastic! However, the food was lacking. The fish was not seasoned and the famous hushpuppies were sort of greasy and not crisp. Disappointed.

Wonderful ambiance and great food for a very reasonable price. Beautiful drive out from Jefferson and Caddo Lake is the most scenic lake around. Catfish fillets are large and two filled us up. Coleslaw, green tomato relish and the sides were all good. Jalapeno hushpuppies were very good.

Recently our family enjoyed an anniversary celebration at Big Pines Lodge. It was an informal dinner with children and grandchildren.
