We visited the restaurant on a Friday night at 5pm, right as they opened. There were already about 3 couples there waiting. Upon opening, we were seated promptly. We opted for indoor dining because it was quite warm outside. The outdoor, screened in dining area looked very nice. The indoor dining area was small but was extremely inviting and comfortable.... Had a great meal. Frog legs, alligator and catfish. I do recommend them at any time. Got to meet the owner Ronald, nice people.

Riverbend has the best catfish & seafood around, in my opinion. The best coleslaw & hushpuppies, and there's a boat dock if you want to come by boat. Friendly & personal service

The first time we tried to visit the restaurant, it was closed. On weekdays it's only open in the evenings. We went back for lunch on Saturday, however, and we were glad we did. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really cute, charming and up-to-date. You couldn't tell from the outside of the restaurant how nice it was inside. Our... More

When driving to this place, you feel like you are lost. Then you finally arrive. When you walk in, you don't get greeted like they want your business. We went on Mothers Day. We had a party of 9. My sister in law ordered a burger. When she tried explaining to the server that her burger was undercooked and she... More

The view is awesome! We sipped on bottled beer while watching all the boats pulling tubes and jet ski's playing in the water. The food was great. We had appetizers of alligator, frog legs, and alligator eggs (stuffed jalapenos). We were brought bowls of beans, coleslaw, and jalapeno hushpuppies! Everyone was stuffed before the food arrived. The catfish is large... More

There was a sense of driving back in the swamp and getting lost, but there it was busy and bustling with the smell of fish cooking in the deep fryer! The blackened catfish was terrific!

The River bend starts with a warm reception, Choice of inside or screened in patio overlooking the river. The patio is the best, overlooking the natural setting of the Caddo Lake bayou area. All the boats that go by wave at you. The red-fish is my wife's favorite but their steaks are also very good. Dining starts with fresh hush-puppies,... More

I had reservations for a group of 12. It can be a little expensive, but you get a lot of food with the entree (cole slaw, hush puppies, and beans). With the Gator Eggs appetizer, an iced tea, a wine margarita, and two 2-catfish fillet dinners, the total for 2 was $47.87, including a 16% gratuity. Be careful driving to... More
