Patio was great

The patio was just what I needed to break up the day. After that it is average at best. Sausage was very good. Friendly folks but too expensive.

I did not enjoy the food on this particular visit. This is "the original Cooper's BBQ". He brisket was too fatty and the chicken was very dry. However the facilities were great: very clean. The staff was friendly and obliging. Sometimes eating at off peak hours can affect food quality. We are around 2 PM so that's something to consider.... More

May be not the best Texan BBQ but give it a try! very good sausages and good meats and fair prices. Excellent and friendly staff, family operated. We will be back!

No many places to eat in Junction, so I choose this joint for a quick bite on my way to San Angelo. Got the sliced brisket sandwich and a peach cobbler to go. At first I was little upset they didn't put any bbq sauce on the brisket, but that passed as soon as I took a bite, it was... More

We were very disappointed. The staff was indifferent and the brisket was bland. The sauce was watery. The potato salad was bland and so was the coleslaw. It's not the lack of spice I am lamenting but a lack of any flavor. The sausage was...ok.

With 99% of my executor duties for my deceased mother in Lake SpringMO completed, my wife & I are returning to our home in El PasoTX; this long haul can only be done is adequately nourished, a task no ordinary eatery can fulfill. BUT, Cooper's BBQ, at I-10 exit 456 (JunctionTX) was more than up to the challenge. This is... More

I have eaten here for 18 years. It is excellent BBQ. Ribs, sausage and brisket are great and it is convenient. The best Coopers is the original at Llano where the bean are unlimited! (Here you have to pay for each order of beans). Also try the blackberry cobbler with ice cream. Then time for a nap.

Unfriendly staff, limited side choices, stingy portions. We even asked about them adding another side such as a hot vegetable. The manager lady snapped at us and said we are not changing anything. The most disturbing sight was watching a worker scrape the foil, dessert pan Numerous times. This happened in the serving line. The meat is luke warm when they put... More

Worst BBQ I have ever had in Texas. I'm a native Texan and love BBQ. LUMS is by far better. Coopers was fat and nasty. Arrogant staff. Horrible.

We were very disappointed in our visit to Cooper's. A small plate of food was 12-15 bucks depending on one meat or two. The brisket and sausage we tried were a little on the dry side and their original BBQ sauce was a thin red liquid that seemed to be mostly vinegar.
