my husband and I walked in to eat lunch and it was seat yourself. SO we sat at the front entrance across from the bar. Sat there for 15 mins and no one came to the table. So we left. Wont be back in there. SO We walked down to the Franchise and love it.

Not a happy diner. Went for lunch and watched at people left one after the other. Stopped in for lunch and waited almost 1.5 hours for our food. I spoke to the manager and he said that he was calling in more staff to help, that did not help. I saw at least 3 table leave. I saw the waiters... More

This is a fun restaurant and bar in an old restored building in Jefferson, TX. The food is mostly home style of burgers but good. An enjoyable evening which might include Karaoke or a band if the night is correct. A good place in the middle of town and within walking distance from the many B & B's in this... More

Best catfish we have had in a long time, and a lot of it. Live music and a mixed crowd. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in this establishment a couple of times for a beer or two -- it seems that this may be the place that locals come to meet-up. Really nice young girl tending bar -- she was really attentive. I'd say it was pretty average on cost -- good selection of beers on draft and bottled.

Didn't eat but did drink. Awesome bloody Mary. Wasn't Smokey while I was there. Few people there eating and it looked great. I wish we would have had time to eat! All of Jefferson is a must see but a stop here is a must!

On weeknights, and slow tourist times, this place seems to be the only restaurant open. They also stay open late, so it's convenient. It is a night club/bar that is frequented by motorcycle enthusiasts - like us! They feature live music, and karaoke nights, and their menu is varied. The burgers are quite good. Perhaps better than their hot plate... More

The burgers were GREAT! Just a dive bar, but the service was good and food was better! We would go again!

Had lunch on a weekday, since I have heard that weekends can be crazy at this restaurant. Auntie Skinner's was nowhere near capacity but had quite a few diners, with a fairly steady flow of customers. Our order was promptly taken; food took about twenty minutes. I wasn't looking for fast food, and the food was worth the wait. Want... More

We visited this place on our way back home from vacation. The building is huge and you can tell it holds a lot of local stories and history. We visited after the local lunch hour so it was not crowded. I can imagine it must hold a big Friday and Saturday night party crowd. Our wait staff got us seated... More
