I went here for breakfast because it was so close to the Jefferson Hotel where I was staying. My husband and I had omelettes, which were well prepared and tasty. The service was good and prices reasonable. It's in a historic building, which was once the old livery stable.

Went to quilt show this past week with a friend and had lunch the first day we were there at the Bakery mainly because it was convenient. Didn't know what kind of food they had. It's your typical "sandwiches/hamburgers and salads with a daily lunch special" kind of place. The difference is they have homemade breads. I had the BLT... More

Went here on our last day with my wife. They had a buffet for the very hungry! Seemed like a good selection. I had a chicken fried steak with fries and a salad, my wife had potato cream soup with a Grilled cheese sandwich. Mine was ok the steak was a bit tough, but my wife's grilled cheese sandwich is... Really good burgers , great breads and pastries you can take with you. A lot of new things on the menu. The sinful brownie is still to die for . Love this place,

Under new owners. ..cleaned and brightened up. Buffet style lunches with lots of veggies to choose from. Already known locally for their homemade breads, now they've added mini pies to the pastry and cookie line.

Stopped in and bought a dozen cookies. They were salty and stale tasting. May have just bought left overs after the long Taste of Jefferson. We actually threw them away. The sandwiches looked awesome though! We wished we had stayed to try them!

Good lunch buffet but I'm not much of a buffet person. Now on the other hand the Double Meat Bacon Cheeseburger was awesome!

The French Toast is the best anywhere. It is thick sliced cinnamon raisin toast that is baked right there. It is fantastic!

If you want a good breakfast for a good price this is the place to go. They make their own bread and there are several fresh baked choices with your breakfast. I ate breakfast here every morning on my last trip to Jefferson. It isn't fancy and the service can be a little slow but it is worth it. I... More

Understaffed is the bottom line if you are there on a Sat or Sun morning. Doesn't make it a bad place or make the food bad. Just have a cup of coffee and go with the flow. If you're in a hurry, Jefferson probably isn't the place for you anyway.
