not very friendly staff, food average - I preferred Joe's Diner for family friendly atmosphere and keeping my coffee topped up

Great Homecooking just like Moma used to make. Large portions & friendly staff. We had a little trouble finding it but that was just fine with us. We will return

We tried this restaurant because of the name. It was fun! The food was great. This is an old-fashioned diner. The largest booth just seats 4, so if you are a large group, it can be difficult to be accommodated. This is old fashioned comfort food. We went for Sunday breakfast. The place was packed. The coffee was great. We... More

I have never been disappointed with the food at Mama's Daughter and the waitresses are always so pleasant. They specialize in plate-lunch type meals with great fresh vegetables. My husband loves the stew and cornbread or a bowl of pinto beans and cornbread. I like their roast and always get their salad and greens with that. They have lots of... More

I've been going to Mama's since I was a kid. The food is always good as well as the service. It's one of my favorite places for a good American meal. The portions are especially generous. Breakfast is really good. It's worth the trip across down and you can frequently find their coupons on groupon.

Came across this diner though a groupon. I am ever so glad to have found this place. Decided to visit them last Sunday for brunch. Ordered off their daily special and must say the portions were huge!! We tried their chicken fried chicken with gravy and the reviews all got it right!! it was heavenly!!! Highly recommend them for brunch.

You can't find better Comfort, homestyle food. (Although Mama's has four other locations in the metroplex.) Obviously she is doing something right. Family atmosphere, pleasant waitresses and helpful if you need assistance making choices. Daily specials are tasty and come with three sides included. Would highly recommend and certainly will go back. Very reasonably priced.

Good homestyle food; went here with kids hoping to find alternatives to chicken strips & fries and was not disappointed. Kids can get small portions of daily specials (though the standard chicken strips & fries is available, too). Adult portions of entrees huge - sides smaller. Appears to be a place locals like as evidenced by other diners. Friendly service,... More

They have great lunch deals, the fried chicken is my personal favorite. The food can be a bit heavy for a lunch but is SO good and worth it. There are a lot of sides to choose from and everything tastes great. Get the fried chicken!! The gravy is also reallllly delicious.
