Arrived on a Sunday late afternoon, was seated promptly. Ordered a burger and chicken laredo. The tortilla soup was very good, although it was splashed all over the bowl and plate. The burger was great, but the chicken was pink. I called my server who immediately took it back to the kitchen. The manager came over and apologized. I quickly... More

On a business trip to Irving, in the Dallas area, I ended up having lunch / diner at the Saltgrass Irving several (6-7) times. The service is fast and when crowded it helps to have a Landry loyalty card to avoid waiting time. The food is good, and variety enough to come back a few times.

I would have been better off going to Mc Donald's than this typical American Fast Food so called Steak House. Felt like I was at the State Fair and what a bunch of LOW CLASS people by the way. Steak was OK but like they say, you get what you pay for.

Though the steak options steal the deal for the day, the service folks figured out an excellent Vegan meal with a combination of a Mound of sweet potato fries, mexican/Texan role with avocado, asparagus, tomatoes, cheese, asparagus, lettuce. The bread and cheese were a good supplement while in some cases the steak was over cooked or were dry but many... More

We went to the San Antonio location 2 days ago for our first time at this restaurant. We were blown away by the service and food. We decided to go again but this time in Irving. We were quite dissapointed with this location. It was extremely loud in this restaurant and very hard to hear. Started off where our waitress... More

I eat at this location ona regular basis. The food is consistently good and the wait staff leverages a team approach which leads to excellent service. It can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is filled to maximum capacity, so the acoustics need to be revisited.

Friends met at restaurant after a football game. Food was well prepared and service was quick and efficient. Beers were cold and plenty of TV viewing from eating area to keep track of current football games. Good place to meet friends when you want a good steak.

We eat routinely at Saltgrass. Steaks, salads, & baked potatoes are consistently good. Pat's Rib Eye can be good, sometimes GREAT! The splash of butter on the well-marbled steak may be key. The beer-bread served is just OK. Would prefer that they revise the recipe to something hot & fresh, common to many other steakhouses/roadhouses. The marinate for grilled chicken... More
