If this is one of the better barbecue places in the Dallas area, the people of Dallas needs to go down to Austin and San Antonio whenever they want barbecue...I mean real barbecue. I've had barbecue at more than 200 places over the past 20 years and this place would not make my top 170. I ordered chicken, ribs and... More

In town for the holiday, wanted to try some bbq. Heard it's pretty good so we stopped by. We had beef & sausage dinner, ribs dinner, and a basket of fried okra. Everything was delish! And the rolls were sooo good, we took some home! Since half of us like veggies, and the other half likes salads, they allowed us... More

The ribs were excellent. The beef brisket was excellent too. The service was excellent and even the manager was providing great service and he was cleaning tables to make room for customers coming in. The sides were ok but the beans were to die for. The coconut cream pie was so so but they do serve blue bell ice cream.... More

The BBQ was very good as was the selection of sides. The baked potato with trimmings was a nice option. The star of the show is the fresh baked bread. Really tasty. Quick and convenient restaurant.

My husband goes toTexas on travel... He knows how much I love NC BQ.. This place had amazing BQ ... It smells like a smoke house as soon as you walk in, luckily the eating area does not. Although pulled pork is not mentioned on the big sign they did have a piece of paper stating the pulled pork was... More

The atmosphere / decoration is ok. the food on the otherhand is just awesome! The best sauce we've tasked. The ribs are very tasty, the brisket was very good as well. the ROLLS are some of the best bread at any place. the mac and cheese was ok, the corn was ok. the sides are just average, but it's the... I had a beef BBQ sandwich. It was good, but their style of sauce is sweeter than I like, which is why my review isn't higher. The baked beans were good, but the mac 'n' cheese was a little gloppy (I was there late in the day, which may account for this). Staff was very friendly. Although it's not my... More

I want to NOT like this place for BBQ. It's a chain after all. But we keep coming back. Nearly every time we fly into DFW (several times a year) our first stop is for lunch at Spring Creek in Irving. The brisket is good. The sauce tasty. Sides are consistently good as well. The entire staff is always friendly... More

Being a road warror, I am constantly aware of those chains that take care of this demographic, often overlooked. Spring Creek is an offender. If you go through the buffet/serving line, you help yourself, it is unlimited. When you get an order to go, younot only get a very small side order container, you do not hae access to the... More

I'm used to some down home, casual, nothing fancy kind of Barbeque places but this place was so average that nothing really was worth writing home about......... with maybe the exception of the yeast rolls. The were fresh right out of the oven and good. But I was in Texas and I wanted Barbeque! I had the beef brisket but... More
