Very good Hibachi

Jinbeh's Hibachi has been consistently good since last 10 years. Hibachi chefs are skilled and fun to watch. Shrimp and Filet is our favorite with fried rice. In desert we like Chocolate moose and tempura ice cream. We also love the beef Gyoza. One of the best Japanese steak house in town and top... read more

Judging by the awards on the wall, you would think that this restaurant would serve fantastic food at dinner prices. Well, no, not really. The financial crunch in Las Colinas didn't do this restaurant any favors. Portion sizes got smaller, food quality got lower, and generally the place just started looking dumpier. This downturn in fortune didn't affect the high... More

Picked up combo fried rice, shrimp and vegetable tempura and calamari tempura. Couldn't tell the calamari was actually calamari. It was shaped like a mini log. I thought squid was round. Oh well, didn't eat it, wasn't sure what it was.. Everything else was good.

The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, the restaurant itself average in appearance. The specialty sushi was good and server was very nice. It was walking distance from Omni Mandalay

I decided to try Jinbeh for lunch as I was in the Las Colinas area on business. I ordered the three roll lunch special for $15 and ordered spicy tuna, spicy salmon and a California roll. The rolls were just ok but they all contained huge pieces of cucumber that overshadowed the fish. Not sure why cucumber was used in... More

Found it to be expensive and the food wasn't up to my expectations considering the reviews this place has. I tried both take out and also dined in. Neither were good with small portion and stale tasting food.

We decided to really "go for it" and get the special which included soup, salad, sushi, fresh fruit, steak, lobster, chicken, shrimp, scallops and dessert! It was all excellent! Perhaps the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to.

The food is excellent, but my server was busy on her computer. She was very nice, but I had to wait way too long.

Good: Service was nice and prompt. Food was flavorful. Hibachi was a fun date night experience. Bad: Due for a cosmetic makeover inside. Seems old. Both my wife and I were sick after leaving. Something we ate didn't agree with us. Normally that means way less than 3 stars; however, I can't be certain it was their food or their... More

We went early and it wasn't crowded. Requested the teppanyaki table and we were seated there. No one else came and I was afraid they would have us wait, but then the chef came out and the show began. The miso soup was flavorful. The salad was served with a very nice ginger dressing. The filet and shrimp were cooked... More
