This is a Trip Advisor favorite, but my family didn't find the pizza rave-worthy. The crust was too charred for us and the calamari appetizer was disappointing. The salads, however, were excellent. Lots of choices made with fresh ingredients,

We ordered a 16 inch meat trio and a 12 inch pepperoni. The meat trio pizza was burnt on most of the parts. The pepperoni pizza was decent. My in-laws live in the NYC/North Jersey area so I have had my share of excellent pizza when visit them. Also it was kind of expensive especially when the larger pizza was... More

I love their thin crust and the fact that they throw it, make it and bake it right there in front of you (at least the last time I was there, which was before their flood and remodel). They have a nice lunch menu with soups and salads, too.

As a born and bred New Yorker who has also lived in New Jersey for quite a while, I think I know good pizza. This place definitely makes great pizza. I loved the thin crust and specialty feel the pizza had. It was made with fresh ingredients. My daughter asked for a special combination with cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms while... More

As most people do, we have some die hard "go-to" restaurants in town that we also go to. We decided to check out TA and try something new in our hometown. We ended up 2 miles down the road at Cavalli based on the reviews. What a great find! We brought our own wine, husband and I split a tasty... More

One of the first places we stopped to eat. The atmosphere is great, the service was good also. The pizza crust was good but the toppings left a lot to be desired. If you like lots of toppings this is not your place.

We were saddled with an unexpected overnight in the DFW airport area and happened upon Cavalli's after getting checked in a nearby hotel. We had a pizza and a salad and were extremely satisfied. Super quick service and delicious food. The wood-fired pizza is a very thin crust with quality topping ingredients. The salad had fresh vegetables and was plenty... More

I went there with my two good friends for dinner for the first time on Saturday. Cavalli is definitely the BEST pizza I have tasted so far in Texas. 900 degrees Fahrenheit wood fired oven! Do I need to say anything else? And it is a BYOB place! Yeah! Great food, great staff, great prices and and a fun place... More

Cavalli's in Irving, TX is a great find, thanks to a friend of mine from the area. It is a smallish restaurant in a shopping center at I-635 and Belt Line Road (behind the McDonald's). The owner is from Naples, Italy and the food is authentic Italian, featuring wood fired pizza. We shared a large salad and small pizza for... More

Reviewed this in January, it was great then, I had the white chicken pizza. But returned and found I was served the saltiest food item I have ever eaten, the 3 meat pizza. Ate most of it, but it swelled me up, could not finish. I thought it was pretty pricey ($13.25 plus tax) for an individual pizza, but ordered... More
