Texan steak at its best!

Best steak and cream corn I've ever tasted. Our server was not the best but the other waiter was the one who really checked on our group. The serving size is gigantic compared to the steaks from Chicago. Steak is so tasty and every bite feels like it melts. Waiting time was fair. They have live... read more

Very disappointing. The service was abysmally bad. We (a group of 8) had to wait 50 minutes for our food from the time we arrived. During that time the waitresses came around only once to fill up our drinks. I had the "Deep Ellum Bleu Burger" and it was good - with one glaring exception. I had ordered it medium... More

I would not recommend this place for a business lunch. It is way too loud. I also did not care at all for the decor. It felt like a large bar. I ordered the chicken salad and most of the chicken had big pieces of fat on it. Gross! We also ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes. Not too great. I... More

I liked this place from the start. Staff is great, great decor (ranch-style, of course), menu had many great selections and food was great. This is good for all types of venues- from family, to couples, to friends at the sports bar. It is a bit loud but very tolerable.

This place is a great farm to table restaurant and they have great happy hour drink specials too with strong drinks! This place is a little expensive, but worth it for a once in a while treat!

I thought this was going to be a great place to bring someone visiting from another country. In our party of four for lunch, we were impressed with the greeting we received, the decor and ambiance wonderful (although noisy). The wait staff was fantastic, bent over backwards in hospitality. Then the food came. My house sausage flatbread was not appetizing... More

I guess I am just not that into Texas food, big portions and not enough vegetables. I had the meatloaf. It was, in my opinion, dry and over smoked. I didn't eat it all partly because it was very dry and partly because there was too much. The mashed potatoes were good, the macaroni and cheese was ok . I... More

The Ranch lives up to its name meaning lots of meat and no vegetarian options for folks. I have been here for HH for work and with friends. They are very accommodating with food and will be happy to make a salad without any meat. If you are an omnivore then you will love it here. The service is nice... More
