This is a buzzing place. The staff seem to have the apparent chaos well under control and were friendly and professional. The food was good although my buffalo burger had too much mustard in it and this masked the taste of the good meat. Very good bar staff, the two girls there worked really hard and had the bar totally... More

My wife and I took some folks to the Ranch in Las Colinas, which is somewhere in Irving, Texas. The good about the restaurant is the place itself. Very comfortable surroundings. Spacious, clean with a good atmosphere. The food was OK. The side dishes were excellent. Portions very generous. Prices were a bit high but not unreasonable. The wait staff... More

We had out of town guest, so I wanted to give them a "Texas" experience. The waiter was funny and very Texas, the setting was big (like Texas), but the steak was average. If the steak had been priced appropriately, I would have given a great review. But...it is overprices for the quality of produce you get. We started with... More

We didn't have reservations, but didn't have a problem getting a table right away. Waiter was very good and informative, but overly attentive which we like. We all had mini Elk Tacos and I had the Snapper, my wife had a Cobb salad and our daughter had a steak….all of it was very good and the beer was cold, so... More

It was just OK. It looks more like a place for drinking instead of a place for families. The menu is very confusing. The people behind us ordered burgers that we didn't see on the menu. The prices are alot more than we would spend on a good grass fed steak. Table of 3 spent a bill just eating and... More

I liked the look of the resstaurant, had character. It was very busy when we were there and though we had called ahead we were told it would be ten min upon arrival and it was more like twenty. Server was friendly abnd accommodating, we had some special orders. Did not like the "bottle" of Mark West, Pinot Noir we... More

Three of us had different entrees. Chipotle Meatloaf, Smoked Fried Chicken, and the Ribs. All cooked as ordered and the sides were off the chart. We had key lime pie and pecan pie for desert that were excellent as well. Not a quiet place, but sure worth the visit.

This must be a local hotspot because there was a large crown and very limited parking when we arrived around 630. But then again, it was a Friday night. The Ranch appears to be a semi upscale establishment, but the prices are highly affordable. They pride themselves on using local grown and harvested ingredients and their chefs challenge themselves daily... More

Service was excellent, steak and burger just average. We found both to be tasty but a little on the dry side. We had them cooked medium well but seemed a bit overcooked. Pricey.

This was my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed like it was going to be a chain-type dinner experience of bland food. What a surprise. It is a one-off restaurant with a long story of locally obtained ingredients, healthy beef, etc. The decor is as expected - Texas Ranch related with very large seating area, but... More
