This was my first visit to the Irving location; however, I have been to the Arlington location(s) many times. While I love the La Madeleine atmosophere and the food is usually quite good, their ordering process is unnecessarily VERY confusing! And no one explains it either! They now have someone waiting at the beginning of the line to take your... More

I placed an order to go, just a salad and soup. The black person who took my order did not even greet me and acted like it was an inconvenience. Then I waited awhile and a black woman approaches me and asked me what I had ordered. I had to repeat it to her and before I had given her... More

Good choice of healthy soups, salads, sandwiches, made with a French style wish. The breads could be a better more frenchies (please do cook them more !!), but at 4000 miles from home, it's a very good moment... Even the pastries are good, and the prices affordable. The place is quite busy for lunch, but perfect for a light dinner.

I enjoyed a quick but very satisfying late lunch at La Madeleine. I had heard about their great menu and delicious food but had never eaten in one before. I was very pleased to enjoy a delicious lunch that was well prepared, served quickly and very tasty.

I went here every morning for a cup of tea and a fresh croissant. It was heaven and reminded me of the croissants I had in Paris.

Visited for lunch and love the concept of this establishment. Loved the variety of meals available from salads and soups to more substantial food offerings. I opted for a tomato basil soup which was very good and a salad. The various pastries and desserts available will make you feel like a kid in a candy store! Service was relatively fast... More

Had the Bistro Sandwich (Turkey)-- Excellent. A wonderfully relaxing evening by the fire. A little hard to get to -but easily seen off McAruthur Blvd. I enjoyed the flavored tea and a quick dessert. LaMadeline is always on my radar when I'm in Irving.

Food superb. Atmosphere relaxing. Fake fire OK. Music fine. Bus boy tossed my meal when I got up to get coffee!

A quaint atmosphere and fireplace were really delightful as the rained poured outside. My husband (a native French speaker) enjoyed conversing with several French speaking staff. From my perspective the French Onion soup was the worst I have ever had. They were nice enough to give me a bowl of potato soup which was much better. The rest of my... More

Ordered a French Dip to go - and it was scrumptuous. My 'beef' is with the experience. As I drooled at the bakery case, the young man at the Take Out counter was in a hurry to ring me up...I was the only one there at that point. I gave him my credit card and another employee walked over and... More
